Up to 31% of brides-to-be in the UK join UKbride and up to 84% of venues have at least six bookings* per year. Six bookings typically represents £42,000 worth of business. We prove that a UKbride member booked your venue!
Yes. UKbride spends in excess of £250,000 per year on marketing aimed purely at brides-to-be. All of the information on the clients dashboard is provided by the brides-to-be (and not UKbride). On the dashboard of our clients, the bride-to-be may provide their name (and partner's name), their address, email address and in some cases their telephone numbers too (as well as quantity of guests and other non-sensitive wedding information). Some brides even allow their profile image to be shown.
UKbride is fully GDPR compliant, and we are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
In addition to the supplier dashboard, we also have an attribution checker which is validated by the venue. Each year UKbride traditionally shows that a client has had on average six bookings per year*.
UKbride advises that campaigns must have a score of 90/100 to achieve on average 6+ bookings.
With the average spend of £7,000 per venue, this represents £42,000 worth of bookings per year.
We were able to attribute campaigns which had no bookings at all either being down to the campaign not being set up by the client, or their campaign score being much lower than our minimum recommendation.
Whilst all the information supplied is directly from the bride and all are UKbride members It is important to note that UKbride does not claim that these bookings are necessarily as a direct result of your UKbride Marketing Campaign. UKbride asks its members which venue (and suppliers) they have booked and asks if they would leave a review for the venue (or supplier) too. The more 5 star reviews you receive the higher your business will appear in the search section.
UKbride is found in thousands and thousands of wedding related search terms in the United Kingdom on search engines. Organic traffic to the site is by far the greatest way that brides find UKbride. We do not rely on organic traffic alone and heavily spend on websites like Google, other search engines and social media websites too, like Facebook and Instagram. We have comprehensive marketing campaigns, email campaigns, and pay per click campaigns too. We also run limited offline marketing campaigns too in wedding magazines. Adding the UKbride rosette on to your own website helps drive more awareness and traffic to UKbride, which helps you to get more bookings.
**A UKbride member is a bride-to-be (or groom-to-be (2%)), who lives in the UK, and has registered on our join up pages (or joined up through our social media competitions).
In addition to this, ALL venues had ‘interactions’ (enquiries), quote requests, venue tours, check availability and brochure requests. The main enquiry is ‘check availability.’ On average ALL suppliers achieve twelve enquiries per month (144 per year). Each enquiry is emailed to you.
Up to 31% of all brides in the UK join UKbride because we are the most trusted wedding website in the UK [Source: Trustpilot and Google Reviews], but also because UKbride has more Facebook fans than any of its rivals – over 190,000 (information correct at time of going to press) – we aim to show venues the power of UKbride and demonstrate why so many of our clients renew with us.
Our order form, terms and conditions and our video presentation about our marketing campaigns set out our terms very clearly (https://ukbride.co.uk/venue).
Because our campaigns are so successful and thousands of clients renew their campaign with UKbride each year, we adopt an auto renewal system.
As clearly explained on the video... The system automatically renews to the package that you have chosen. If you are not happy for whatever reason you MUST cancel the campaign before the renewal date. So, just get in touch before the renewal date. We will then show you how to get your STOP CODE.
100%. Yes. Clients have 364 days to stop their campaign and they can stop it at any time BEFORE the renewal date (although we do ask that you give the campaign a few months to build momentum).
No, as this would breach the legal contract and agreed terms and conditions.
