Get to know your Photographer. You'll be spending a long time with them on the day, it pays to be comfortable with them.

Don't worry about the details on the day, make sure you have planned everything you want before the day and then just sit back and let it happen.

Choose a photographer that will not add to your stressful day but who will be willing to hold your lipstick if you get swept away.

Try and carve out 15 minutes on your wedding day that is just for the two of you. You will be surrounded by your love ones all day and being able to just stop and take it all in together is priceless

While choosing the dress most brides have a fixed idea of what they like. My advice is to be open-minded and try other styles as you might be surprised and find an unexpected revelation.

This is you Wedding, Invite the people you want. Dance to the songs that brings you joy. Eat the best food you will ever have. Be the king and queen for the rest of your life.

Plan your budget well to include the best photography you can afford. Your day will be over in a flash and you want your photographers to preserve it for your entire lifetime.

Be open-minded, when trying gowns on. You may find a style you originally dismissed looks fabulous on you. Remember classic styling endures, try not to be led by trends.

Always keep an open mind when looking for your dress! Try on all shapes, styles and fabrics. After 12 years in business there's one thing we are sure, brides often fall in love with the wild card.

In planning seating arrangements ensure you are aware of any relatives or family members that might have tension between them. Carefully plan their seating to avoid stress or conflict on the day.

Do not allow pushy sales staff to persuade you something looks great when it doesn't fit you properly. The fit and proportion should be correct for your body shape. Do not compromise, it's your day.

You can add a splash of colour to the flowerwall to suit your colour scheme.

Ask for an engagement shoot. Great practice for poses and helps you bond with your photographer(s) which will help immensely on your wedding day as you will feel comfortable with them.

I would always recommend a pre-wedding shoot to get comfortable with your photographer. My pre-wedding shoots are free & at them we can chat about the day itself, so everything runs smoothly.
