Welcome to the Plough Alnwick. Enjoy total relaxation in a beautiful coaching inn that has a history dating back to 1896. We’ve lovingly restored the building to create a modern take on the traditional coaching inn and hunting lodge décor. Enjoy a stay to remember in any of our seven cosy bedrooms, uniquely designed to cater for everything from a romantic getaway to the business traveler. Want to dine? You’re more than catered for. Relax in style in our Superior Rooms. With a Chesterfield-style leather seating area and luxury bath, you can lounge in style, amongst the hunting themed décor. Sleep in supreme comfort in a king-size bed, then enjoy a delicious morning beverage with an in-room Nespresso machine and entertainment via a large TV and I-pod docking station. The rooms can also accommodate two z-beds if needed, for a family stay.

We have two pleasant double-rooms, which each offer double-beds with dressing tables and furnishings set within grey-check furnished decor. Enjoy a large TV, en-suite shower and toilet, as well as complimentary refreshments for that much-needed morning pick me up.
