The Real Wedding of Jessica & Rory

Jessica & Rory's Wedding Story

Jessica & Rory have been a pleasure to work with from the very first showround, which I remember well. On the morning of the wedding both of them were so relaxed and just excited to get married, which doesn’t happen very often!

The theme was elegant and so classy. At Newton Park Hotel I always say ‘less is more’ when it comes to décor and they certainly achieved this. With tons of Eucalyptus fragrancing the hotel lobby and the large light up initials on show, there was a real wedding vibe in the air from the crack of dawn.

The gold plate chargers really finished off the already beautiful table arrangements and teamed perfectly with the table numbers. Whilst Jess had agreed only to incorporate Star Wars characters into the buttonholes which were brilliant, she had a trick up her sleeve and surprised Rory with a peeping Yoda from the back of the cake. A really modern and sneaky way to bring a bit more personality into something super classy!

They had cocktails and canapés in the grounds thanks to the beautiful weather that they both deserved and after the wedding breakfast and plenty of drinks, the live band setup for the evening to put the cherry on top of a fabulous day.

I can’t say a bad word about the new Mr & Mrs Martin and they have been a pleasure to work alongside and look forward to welcoming them back to the hotel for their first anniversary dinner!
