Gemma Wins Event Coordinator
Gemma Gleed from Norwich has won her event coordinator and light-up wedding letters courtesy of UKbride and Masons Great Event Co!
"I am a full time mum to our 3 children I am also a carer to our autistic daughter and Shaun is a bus driver," says Gemma. We met through Shaun's late wife - I used to go to Slimming World with her and we became good friends! After she sadly passed away in 2017, me and Shaun supported each other and gradually realised there was more there! We live in Norwich."
"We went to London in December as we had been invited by Chris Evans to his ultimate Christmas party at the O2 as our son had done a radio interview with him about being a young carer and stayed over night. The next day, we decided to have a look round London and take the kids on the London Eye. Little did I know, Shaun and our eldest Zoe had been planning for months and at the top of the London Eye, Zoe said she wanted to take pictures of the two of us against the skyline (she was secretly filming instead of taking photos) and at that point Shaun got on one knee and proposed!"
"We have booked our venue and have some other ideas but other than that, things had to go on hold as Shaun had an injury at work and had been off sick for several months and also we moved house."
"I have not chosen my dress yet. We have one element decided but not paid for yet which is an owl as a ring bearer!"
