I'm thinking about hiring a cheese cart. If anyone else has done this before, was it popular with the guests? And how much did it cost?

My venue let us buy our own cheeses and crackers and we put them out with the buffet. Much cheaper and it went down really well! Might be worth finding out if that's an option

We didn't have a cheese cart but had a tiered cheese cake which was displayed next to our actual cake during the reception and was then put out with breads and pickles for our evening buffet. Looked great!
Cheese carts are a fantastic idea - we are both cheese lovers! However do bear in mind the amount of cheese you will order as not everybody will want some and can often mean a lot of is wasted. Also consider the smell - once it gets warm after being out for a few hours it can often kick up a bit of stink and you don't want the smell of cheese wafting around whilst you and your guests are on the dance floor!
