Converse are a nice middle. Not too trainer looking and can also be edited to look more 'weddingy'. Comfy all day too x

Do what you like who cares what people think. I spent a fortune on designer shoes and only wore them for church. I changed to my boots for the outside photos and were so comfy I kept them on all day and night!

I catered a vintage tea party wedding for 2 ladies and one bride did wear trainers ( you could hardly see them as she wore a long gown) BTW on Everything for £ - they sell sparkly trainers sometimes - happy wedding:)

I have trouble with my feet and have a flat pair off shoes but also bought a pair off black glitter trainers as we have both been married before my dress is wine so going to have black bridesmaids dress and a red and black theme but won't be seen under my dress

I always wear Dm boots so that's what I'm wearing. You could aways get blue ones, have them as your something blue and make a feature of them instead of hiding them! xXx

Wear what you want - it's your day. Be comfortable. You're going to be on your feet for a long time & a lot of brides end up taking their shoes off towards the end of the day anyway

Sharon McGuire

I'm definitely wearing trainers. Lots of ways to make them individual to you though. Change the laces for ribbons that match your theme, add glitter or crystals or bows or lace. There are people out there who will paint your trainers/ converse /doc martin/ wellies with cartoon characters, comic book characters, superheroes, names, dates, locations, butterflies, roses etc whatever you want. So do whatever makes you happy and comfortable.

It's your day, wear what you want! Every wedding I've been to, the bride spends most of her day on her feet so needs comfortable footwear. If trainers are your favourite and comfortable wear them.
