I would have loved to have had my pets at my wedding but you have to have someone you trust to look after them & you want your friends & family to enjoy the wedding too. I started considering a dog/pet sitting service at wedding so that brides & grooms can have their fluffy family members with them on their big day without worrying

Our venue is dog friendly and stayed with me night before and with my mum on the day of the wedding. She joined us for pictures and the rest of the time people took turns to check on her and take out. Our brother and sister in law brought their dog to our wedding too. It was amazing

It was the 1st question we asked our venue!
Whilst they are allowed we won't have them there for the actual ceremony as I feel they may get stressed around too many people,
We live 5 minutes away from our venue so as I have my family pics my h2b will go and get them to have wedding pics taken with them, They will then go home and then go back home and then we will pick them up again at night to stay with us overnight at the venue
My dogs are my children, I couldn't not have them there but each to their own

I had my dog attend for the group photo for an hour after the ceromony. Why not its about sharing your day with loved ones. He even wore a bow tie.

Our dog loved our wedding. He stayed the whole time. Not fussed by the noise and loved the attention. Our family have dogs so knew there would be someone could hold on to him during the ceremony. He just slept under the table during the meal.

We have a bearded dragon and I'd love him to be a ring bearer, except he's stupid and doesn't listen to commands so he'd definitely just scamper off and hide

We had our dog walker bring the dogs for an hour to our reception venue after an hours walk so they didn't go too crazy on the guests. I'm glad we got to have photographs with them, but also booking a dog walker/sitter for the day meant we felt confident they were well looked after. X

We are planning on having our dog as ring bearer we are hopefully having him there during the ceremony then some photos and leaving before the wedding breakfast. One of my bridesmaids will be walking him down the isle on his lead. We've hired a dog sitter who will be dropping him off and picking him up from the venue (and also having him for the beginning part of our honeymoon until one of our parents can take him) I'm sure it may end up a bit of a hassle on the day, but he is part of the family and I really want to have him involved. We also used him in our save the date.

Our princess was 100% part of our day! We researched it and churches/ venues don't have banning policies in place however some may have restrictions luckily ours was more than welcoming to accommodate all 3 of us!

I love conducting wedding ceremonies including doggies. Never a bad experience always a positive impact on the celebration. Live life without limitations...that is why using
a celebrant for your ceremony is the preferred choice for many couples #nolimits #lovewins it should be very much "your wedding day in your way". #creatingmemories

Yep! I'm having my dog at my wedding. I've bought her a new harness & lead for the occasion & ordered her buttonhole flowers to attach to the harness. My bridesmaid is walking her down the aisle, she's staying for the meal & then a wonderful friend of mine is taking her home before the loud music starts. I know she won't understand but she's part of our family & I wouldn't have gotten married without her there.
