I did my own makeup on our wedding but someone I know had makeup done bye a artists and she didn't look any different on a regular day then she did on our wedding day so just make sure when you have your make-up done that you look different then day today otherwise there's no point having a make-up artist when you could do same job yourself and look the same... paying all that money for it too.... good luck on the big day xx

I had mine done as a last minute thing. I did a yell.com search for local mobile makeup artists and emailed them for their prices and if they were available on the date and time I wanted. Once I got them back, I picked one that had a bridal package for £100 but also did makeup for a special occasion for £30. I wanted a natural look and she did it all for me in around 45 mins and it cost me the £30. I gave her a tenner tip on top of it. Lasted all day and was brilliant, so a good way of getting what you want cheaper
