UKbride Administrator 29 Jul 2017

I did go for the watch but my hubby is really into watches and has always wanted a Tag Heuer so I got him one and had the back engraved. He was a surprised as I told him I was never ever paying that for a watch and he was convinced. I also got him a watch for his 18th and again for his 21st birthday so it's a wee tradition for me to get him a new watch on a big event, so he has a wee collection now from me. I also got him a wee card for his wallet with a poem on, and a handmade card with a letter that I wrote. xx

My Fiancé and I have an analogy for our love- it's like a tree. It starts with a small acorn but with our love, water and sunshine it can grow into a big oak.

So for his wedding gift I was hoping to buy (or find and gold plate) an acorn to symbol the start of our love and how it started just from a small seed to where we are now.

Seems a bit odd but I know he will find it very meaningful.

UKbride Administrator

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 29 Jul 2017

Catriona White 29 Jul 2017

Not a terribly new idea but I'm planning to get a nice (not naked or tacky hopefully) boudoir type photo and give it to him in the morning 😍

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 29 Jul 2017

I have got my other half something very different! I can't say though as it will pop up on his newsfeed that I have commented. I have gone with things that I know he loves, and used that as my inspiration for his present. Better that than something random that will get stuffed to the back of a cupboard and forgotten about

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 29 Jul 2017

I bought mine his shoes, a tie pin with our initials engraved in it and a funny t-shirt to wear in the morning. I also put a video together of clips of our last year before we got married and put it to our favourite song.
