I got married in Vegas 4 weeks ago and had mine in my normal luggage so I didn't have to fold it as much. Had it folded twice in the dress bag and had hubbys suit folded in his suit bag in the same case. Airline put a priority tag on it for us. Then we just packed all our normal clothes into another big case and used hand luagge for shoes etc. Dress and suit were fine on arrival. Didn't even need steamed x

Usually it's advised to take it in hand luggage. You can get dress boxes and usually the bridal shop will pack it for you.

My friend is getting married in Jamaica next week and she's taking her dress as hand luggage.
This also gives peace of mind in case the airport lose luggage! x
