im 3 weeks away from my wedding and i thought id be nice to the guests and buy some extra wine for the table, as our package only give the guests 3 drinks during the meal, i asked the venue about this and they have added nearly 70.00 just to put the wine on the table, luckily i have family who own a pub so i got the wine at discount, i think i would have cryed if id payed full price then the extra on top of this....brides just be aware of this :)
I wouldn't be able to put extra on my tables unless I did it through the venue x
Most places will charge you corkage!
It's pretty standard to be charged corkage to take your own alcohol into a licensed venue.
£70 is nothing compared to what you could have had to pay, we had to pay £30 a bottle for ours, so your going save loads in the long run
