How much did everyone spend on their wedding? Mines coming in at 7k at the moment and that seems a lot and we have a lot of lovely things going on.
Hi we have 5-7 thousand but very slow in making arrangements have provsionally booked registrar booked venue, venue decs and are seeing the caterers Tues 18 July :)
We spent 11k - but we chose an expensive venue and upgraded most things in our package as we wanted a particular photographer and flowers etc xx
Ours is £8k just for the venue, food & drinks. Decor, stationary, flowers, attire, gifts, favours, photographer, videographer, entertainment all costing extra.
Mine will be around 12-14k but I am basically making my pinterest wedding a reality haha, saying that I have got some good deals and done a lot by myself :D
Ours is coming to about £7000 xx
How much did people pay for cake and flowers ? Xx
I think were hitting around the 9k mark, without the honeymoon atm. :/ x
Under 2k lol
just under 20k no idea how iv spent that much
Try near 15k 🤔 think I got a bit giddy hahaha
Ours will be about 9-10k once everything is paid for, although we have over budgetted for a few things just incase we want to upgrade closer to the time or if Costs go up between now and the payment dates xx
18,500 so far including our honeymoon to Mauritius. So about 14500 for wedding and done a lot of things ourselves x
Just under 30k
Trying to keep it under 25K not including the honeymoon
About 17k and we've budgeted like crazy and done most things ourself as we're both creative. Don't know how people do it for less! But we are getting the wedding of our dreams x
I got mine down to £1000
With the honeymoone it worked out as about 35k x we did everything exactly how we wanted, had the most beautiful day and paid for a few bits that sometimes people don't pay for so we could have everyone involved in everything (bridesmaids dresses, Accomadation for my bridesmaids the night before, jackets with our names on for the day etc) x I wouldn't regret a thing!! :) xxxxxx
7k all in
About £6k when finished
I had a budget of £8,500.... and have accidentally spent about £12,000 but we will owe absolutely nothing to anybody after the day. This includes the gifts and everything down to my earrings etc x
It's cheaper to live in sin lol
Just short of £30k with honeymoon included.
Around 25k including what my parents paid towards but that was for a foreign wedding on a yacht which also included accommodation, a slightly large bar bill, bridesmaids outfits rings etc and a photograph package. Honeymoon is yet to be decided xx
ours is looking to be around 25k so far without honeymoon 🙈 struggling to budget/cut anything else out but our venue is a total dream! xx
Around £10,000 and I saved money by making things and having a Sunday wedding for a cheaper venue.
About 12k without honeymoon, probably be around the 15k mark with x
Ours is around £12k-£13k including honeymoon
Ours will be about 17k but i have a big family. X
Mines working out about £1,900. I was going to do something else which would've come to around £7000 but due to certain circumstances we've decided to have the wedding sooner and cheaper. This price includes everything! We're lucky that my sister is a photgrapher, getting my dress from wed2b, my cake will be from M&S, paying for 3 separate tiers and decorating myself. The 3 tiers are costing £54.
We're going to a registry office and then a rugby club (we're paying someone to decorate it for us so it will be unrecognizable for £180).
25k all in
Ours in total was about 12500. We paid for things in installments... And have no debts x
We've spent about £8000 on ours. That doesn't include cake and flowers tho has one of my Bessie's is a baker so she's doing us a 4 tier cake and 48 cupcakes as our wedding present and my moms partner owns a florist so they're doing my flowers also my mom and my sisters have seen stuff and brought it (obviously with our blessing) so I reckon we would of easily spent £10-£12000 without all the help, which I'm enormously grateful for because we're having a beautiful dream wedding 6 weeks today xx
Around 3000 no honeymoon though
We did between 6-7 and had everything
About 19k excluding honeymoon we have tried to really budget on some things but do have our dream venue x
Budgeted between 3 and 4 k for everything
5K nice day planned. Hotel afternoon tea for wedding breakfast and a right good booze up with curry and pizza back at the local. Tried to incorporate the major aspects we hold dear as well as giving people a reason to get dressed up for the day.
£4000 Married in a church my daughters christening the same time 11 bridesmaids pub/hotel venue. Our biggest spend was entertainment we had 140 guests 40 which were children so had a rodeo camel, a photobooth, face painter, disco dome, dj and a caricaturist x
Budgeted for 10k jus under the 8k only flowers, dresses and dads suits to get oh and stationery so might be just over lol
Does it matter what you spend on your wedding? So long as you have your family and friends there and are marrying your soul mate. In my opinion, this question only gives some people a chance to show off and brag bout spending a small fortune .
3250. Although free honeymoon and photographer x
My wedding all In is less than 2k
Don't really know tbh we've not been counting some things I've paid for and some things my partner has sorted out such as the photographer and he won't tell me how much he was! Didn't really ever have a budget. Venue was around £2,000, my dress is about the same after the alterations, cake was only 100 odd and car was only 20. Not got a honeymoon booked yet.
We spent about £25K including our honeymoon. We did have a budget but got carried away on a few bits, despite trying not to! We did have an amazing day though :)
16500 for the wedding (destination wedding in Italy - 8 people), after party back in the UK and the honeymoon all around italy for a few weeks staying in good hotels. If we got married in the UK with a larger guest party, it would be a lot more!
Mind was around 3k for everything. Venue, food, eve, bar tab, bridal suit, DJ. You name it. Everything was fantastic. We shopped around but I still considered this a bargain!
We spent 3500 and had the day just how we wanted it.Had photo booth, sweet cart, video booth, choc fountain.Theres lots of good prices if you shop around.
We have a 1.5 - 2 k budget for 70 day 100 night
We had a budget of £10k but ended up spending £16k including honeymoon
Around 3k we've cut back on things that we actually don't really need 5 days till my big day xx
We had a church wedding and did not spend anywhere near that amount!!
Ours will be £10-£11k. Been saving for 2 years. Honeymoon will be a once in a lifetime trip to Japan and currently sits about £8k
Ours is likely to come in around £15k. More than I wanted when I originally looked but I'm happy with how it's going x
We will be hitting around the £5,000 mark x
Jamie Ralph read some of these, it will make you feel better about the cost of ours!
About 10-11 including everything except
A honeymoon. What people spend depends massively on venues, number of guests, type of food etc etc. Factoring in location price differences too. I don't think it helps to compare because everything is so different for everyone!
Have a great day! Xx
4k for everything. Hotel reception on a Saturday, honeymoon of a 3 stage caravan tour of the south of England, dress & suit, rings, photography, everything. Didn't really cut anything out. Had a great day, no one noticed the cheapness. In fact some people said we must have spent a fortune as a previous wedding was 42k and they likened ours to that one but said our food was better. There are lots of ways to cut corners with some creative DIY and some time, makes a difference and makes it all more personal.
Mine is around £15k!
Approx £30k, living on a small island we don't have much choice as soon as you mention weddings it doubles in price. Saving really hard though and I want to have my dream wedding. x
We went for an all inclusive wedding on the beach in sunny wales, with cake, entertainment etc it altogether £8k but not including honeymoon xxx
