Has anyone had a bridesman as well as bridesmaids?
Yep I did. He came to mums house in the morning and drove my mum to the venue and he walked down the aisle with the rest of my bridesmaids
I'm having 2 bridesmen and 2 bridesmaids. I just have more male friends than female! Think I'll pair the men up with the maids to walk down the aisle. I'll probably have them wear a variation of the suits that the best men are wearing with slightly bigger button holes matching my flowers.
Not technical the same but my daughter doesnt wear dresses and will be walking down the aisle as my bridesmaid in a suit it is completely different style and colour to the grooms suits so people wont think she is part of the grooms party x
Yes! I'm having a bridesman, it wasn't even a question for me I just went for it :) when I thought of who I wanted there as part of my "gang" on the day I knew I wanted to involve him too and I'm not one for tradition so I didn't really care what people would think :) if you've got close male friends I don't see why you shouldn't include them :)
We went to a friends wedding in February and his wife only had a bridesman which was her brother. It was quite sweet! He wore the same suits as the grooms and ushers. Worked well.
I haven't but my fiancé is having 'groomsmaids' in addition to ushers so I don't see anything wrong with it. It your wedding so do what you like.
Paul Senior - you was the best
Yes, he, my moh & I have been best friends for years and couldn't imagine not having him by my side

Bridesman love this idea David Treen Carl Treen ♡♡
me and my girlfriend are both having a "best man" as well as our bridesmaids xx
Not myself but then my male bestie has the important role of walking me up the aisle. After I lost my dad I knew there would be only one person I would trust for the job
We're having bridesmen, a 'man of honour' and a 'best lady'.
My best friend is a guy and my fiancés is a lady, so it makes sense for us
My best friend is a man and he's my maid of honour lol xx
Yes im having a bridesman no question and im going to be a best woman at my brothers wedding xx
Went to a lovely wedding a few years ago where there were two bridesmaids, one in yellow, the other orange, and two bridesmen with cravats** to match the 'maids - they all looked fab :) x
Hubby & myself we're bridesmen, she also had two bridesmaids!
Daniel Martin I guess you're my brides man xx
I did. I had 2 bridesmaids and a bridesman. The day wouldn't have been the same without him by my side. I married a Scottish man so he had matching kilt to them with a button hole but the button hole matched my flowers rather than the groomsmens
I'm having a bridesman as well as my bridesmaids, can't imagine my day without them all there. 4 weeks to go!!
Jamie Whalley is my bridesman!!!
We are going to a wedding in a couple of weeks and the bride is having a bridesman and the groom is having a groomsmaid/best woman. If your nearest and dearest are of the opposite sex then its a lovely idea!
I am having three bridesmaids and a man of honour :)
I wouldn't do that not because I think it's not a good idea but I don't have any special male friends I would want to ask and I don't think my brother would be up for it. I would if I had a special male friend but I don't. If you have a special male friend you want to do this I say go for it. My friend (a girl) was best man at her brother's wedding.
