I loved ours and I love going to weddings that have them. I think they're so much fun and a brilliant idea

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 4 Jul 2017

We have one coming at ours. We've got it from 7-10 as we wanted the kids to have fun too. But some say it's better to have later as you get the drunken ones hahahaha

UKbride Administrator 4 Jul 2017

We had a magic mirror and it was fantastic! I thought exactly the same about them being overdone. The magic mirror felt a bit different although it does the same thing. The guests loved it x

Great fun no matter how many you've done!

UKbride Administrator 4 Jul 2017

We are having one. I'm excited about it. We had a really good deal from Nuvo Photo Booths and it includes a guestbook & keyrings for favours so that's something we wouldn't have to worry about if I hadn't already ordered them x

I'm making my own have bought loads of props and just bought some selfie sticks probably cost me around £30. Xx

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 4 Jul 2017

We're having one and asking the guests to stick the photos in an album and leave a message so it's our guest book too.

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 4 Jul 2017

I love them but I think nearly every wedding I've been to has had one - so they are obviously a popular/overdone thing, but that doesn't matter if you and your guests are having fun!

We have booked one. Just gives a bit of entertainment and gives memories of the day to us as well. I'd definitely shop about though as we got a really good deal £500 for 200 key rings, sweet Cart for 150 people, green screen, Love letters, and 5hrs unlimited prints then them all on USB.

I thought about this but my husband really wanted one so we got a photo pod (selfie stand) and it was great to look back at all the hilarious photos. xXx

nothing is overdone at weddings. Unless your guests have very strange hobbies or hire themselves out for events they won't have been to more than 1 or 2 weddings recently. As someone who works in the industry (and I am sure other suppliers feel the same) you can sometimes feel like you are in a scooby doo cartoon (photobooth, bunting, naked cake, photobooth, bunting, naked cake etc) but honestly, that's just us because we see wedding all day and in our sleep. Your guests won't so forget what is on trend and just have the wedding you want.

Everyone loved ours at our wedding in may! It was never empty, a great laugh and the photos got put in an album for us to keep. I would recommend one to anyone x

Whereabouts are you? We offer a pop-up studio included in our photography package, super fun and makes guests feel like celebrities being photographed with professional lights by a professional photographer, better than a photo booth! Plus you get all the images included and you can share the online gallery with all your guests and they can download their photos, at no extra cost! We offer 2 photographers for each job as standard so one can 'man' the mini studio while the other one can shoot more candid photos. We include this at absolutely no extra cost, so you're saving lots of money and have both! Www.lightandimagination.com

I loved mine. We had place names on the tables and when guests arrived we gave them cards with a rhyme in it which encouraged them to 'visit' other 'places' therefore they had to go to another table and pick a guest and have their photo taken in the booth with each other. It encouraged people to mix and the photos are hilarious.

Most weddings that I have been too recently have had 1. We are having one for ours too. They defo get plenty of use especially when people have had a few drinks. Something that everyone can enjoy kids and adults alike x

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 4 Jul 2017

We're not having one. We've got disposable cameras on tables so there will be enough loony pics on those lol. I think it's all down to personal choice, as it is with everything at weddings. What works for one won't work for another in terms of likes and dislikes x

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 4 Jul 2017

Going to have one at mine. We had such a laugh at my friends wedding with hers x

I own an entertainments hire company - Glamour Booth photobooths are so much fun and with double prints and guestbooks plus the USB of all pics downloaded at end of might - you capture the fun of the night forever. Our booths also contain HD Video recording so even more great opportunities to capture some great messages from guests #FOREVERPOPULAR #PHOTOLOVE

I had one, a magic mirror! Just got the photos on a pen drive today!! If I wasn't being harassed or moaned at by everyone at my wedding I probably would of had a lot more fun with it!! Not sure the 40 photos I ended up with are worth what I paid to have it there though x

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 4 Jul 2017

Overdone! Banned at my wedding!!!!!

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 4 Jul 2017

We run a Photobooth company (with a difference as ours are vintage and a vintage caravan) and they are always popular....with all ages. You could say the same thing about DJs....you always have so why not have the fun of a Photobooth as well. They are a great way of entertaining guests who actually may not like dancing and (as in our case with an open booth) they are a lot of fun to be in and also to watch the shenanigans in the booths,

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 5 Jul 2017

we are having one. it's a good bit of fun. ours includes a guest book so i'm looking forwarded to seeing the photos everyone has taken; and it's a nice thing for guests to take away (something they actually will take as well) as a reminder xx

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 5 Jul 2017

We're having one that's in a vintage vw camper! Loved the idea of a photo booth but so many of the glitzy ones didn't fit in with the rustic theme. Many do guestbooks too (so guests get a copy and the second goes int the book which they can sign) so saves you another thing x

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 6 Jul 2017

I'd highly recommend priory lane photography. They set up a screen and props in a room of your choice, and a person take the pictures on a professional camera, this means it's better for group shots and the prints are great quality, we chose a room next to the bar. Guests loved it and we asked them to stick a copy of their pick into our guest book. It breaks the night up a bit as weddings can be long days. X
