Photobooths- a good thing or have they been overdone at weddings?
We've got a Maraoke booth .... it's a photo booth, Karaoke booth and video messaging booth ... can't wait !!
Definitely a good thing !! So much fun xxxx
I've still got one at mine. I think they are fab. Xx
Best thing I've had. Also the first thing we looked at the morning after while still in bed x
We had one it was great fun!!
We were going to have one but changed our minds. They feel overdone now. x
Our guests were in their element at our wedding with the booth!
They are tad expensive, so we bought a selfie photo booth! It is awesome, looking forward to using it!
I have mine in 26 days and I have ordered 1 I can't wait
Overdone, tacky, awful.
Depends how many weddings ur friends have been to that have one as to whether or not its overdone for them
My wedding is in september and I can't wait to see all the pics from our photobooth
I had a selfie mirror in ours and everyone loved it and photos have been amazing xxx
I loved ours and I love going to weddings that have them. I think they're so much fun and a brilliant idea
We have one coming at ours. We've got it from 7-10 as we wanted the kids to have fun too. But some say it's better to have later as you get the drunken ones hahahaha
We had a magic mirror and it was fantastic! I thought exactly the same about them being overdone. The magic mirror felt a bit different although it does the same thing. The guests loved it x
Great fun no matter how many you've done!
We are having one. I'm excited about it. We had a really good deal from Nuvo Photo Booths and it includes a guestbook & keyrings for favours so that's something we wouldn't have to worry about if I hadn't already ordered them x
Always go down well
I'm making my own have bought loads of props and just bought some selfie sticks probably cost me around £30. Xx
We're having one and asking the guests to stick the photos in an album and leave a message so it's our guest book too.
I love them but I think nearly every wedding I've been to has had one - so they are obviously a popular/overdone thing, but that doesn't matter if you and your guests are having fun!
We have booked one. Just gives a bit of entertainment and gives memories of the day to us as well. I'd definitely shop about though as we got a really good deal £500 for 200 key rings, sweet Cart for 150 people, green screen, Love letters, and 5hrs unlimited prints then them all on USB.
I thought about this but my husband really wanted one so we got a photo pod (selfie stand) and it was great to look back at all the hilarious photos. xXx
Great idea .. photo booth or magic mirror available great fun gets every1 involved x
Who cares if they're overdone? It's your wedding. If you want a photobooth, have one
I had one at my wedding last month and it went down really well with everyone
Hi we haven't decided on a photographer yet and we are sure what to do about a photo booth :)
We are making our own, we are having a rustic wedding so making a big wooden frame with our names and date on and hanging it from a tree then we have bought lots of props, cost us about £4 ️ x
I got married last sat. we had a photo booth was brilliant everyone loved it even the oldies was in there dressing up. x
We have a magic mirror as a bit different loads of lovely ones like a little camper van that has the camera and props so doesn't have to be the traditional one x
No. everyone had a ball with ours!!!! Looking through the photos gave us a right laugh 😂😂 xx
nothing is overdone at weddings. Unless your guests have very strange hobbies or hire themselves out for events they won't have been to more than 1 or 2 weddings recently. As someone who works in the industry (and I am sure other suppliers feel the same) you can sometimes feel like you are in a scooby doo cartoon (photobooth, bunting, naked cake, photobooth, bunting, naked cake etc) but honestly, that's just us because we see wedding all day and in our sleep. Your guests won't so forget what is on trend and just have the wedding you want.
Everyone loved ours at our wedding in may! It was never empty, a great laugh and the photos got put in an album for us to keep. I would recommend one to anyone x
We are not having one. We personally dont like them x
Whereabouts are you? We offer a pop-up studio included in our photography package, super fun and makes guests feel like celebrities being photographed with professional lights by a professional photographer, better than a photo booth! Plus you get all the images included and you can share the online gallery with all your guests and they can download their photos, at no extra cost! We offer 2 photographers for each job as standard so one can 'man' the mini studio while the other one can shoot more candid photos. We include this at absolutely no extra cost, so you're saving lots of money and have both! Www.lightandimagination.com
It's a great thing to have the memories and laughs looking back, when people have a bit of a drink they let loose and makes for great photos xx
I had one and it went down really well everyone got it in by me and my husband haha but the pics after are well good and funny ones to keep I say it's deffo worth it x
We are having one as I absolutely adore them. I can't wait to dress up and be silly with my favourite people x
Omg yes we had one for 4 hours the entire time it was occupied everyone let loose and had such a great time they all got to keep thier pictures and we got a fantastic album with all the pics and comments from our guests. the 2 ladies that ran the booth were lovely and a huge amount of props were supplied. We hired one a few years ago to for my father in laws birthday party at my house ended up keeping it for 3 days I love them you can't help the silliness haha x
Hayley Jobbo Jobbins Im Not A Oldie lol, Was Fab Xx
Absolutely hilarious ! Thanks David and Hayley Fenton !
I loved mine. We had place names on the tables and when guests arrived we gave them cards with a rhyme in it which encouraged them to 'visit' other 'places' therefore they had to go to another table and pick a guest and have their photo taken in the booth with each other. It encouraged people to mix and the photos are hilarious.
I event manage five projects a year three have been weddings this year and the photo booths have all been well received I am even arranging one for a massive corporate event in September I am thinking of offering them more to more of my clients loads of fun
Bloody amazing !!!
Most weddings that I have been too recently have had 1. We are having one for ours too. They defo get plenty of use especially when people have had a few drinks. Something that everyone can enjoy kids and adults alike x
We're not having one. We've got disposable cameras on tables so there will be enough loony pics on those lol. I think it's all down to personal choice, as it is with everything at weddings. What works for one won't work for another in terms of likes and dislikes x
Going to have one at mine. We had such a laugh at my friends wedding with hers x
I didn't have a photo booth at mine our dj came with a camera and props he was great :)
Definitely over done been to a few weddings all ready with them and yes gets boring and pulls people of the dance floor but only my opinion x
Was the best money we spent! Was full all evening and we have an album of wonderful photos of everyone enjoying themselves!
Hi All, I run a photo booth company but we offer a few different bits that are a real hit. Our customised prints and Magic Mirror go down a storm. Check out our website directorscutphotobooth.co.uk
I personally find them a bit tacky
I am having a photo booth, gives it that extra bit of fun and enjoyment for you and your guests
I think they are great, went to a friends wedding that had one and they are a lot of fun x
I own an entertainments hire company - Glamour Booth photobooths are so much fun and with double prints and guestbooks plus the USB of all pics downloaded at end of might - you capture the fun of the night forever. Our booths also contain HD Video recording so even more great opportunities to capture some great messages from guests #FOREVERPOPULAR #PHOTOLOVE
I had a photo booth and it was brill so much fun I would love to have another one xx
were having one, theyre always a bit of fun for a couple of hours and they usually do an extra print for the bride and groom as a keepsake album.
We had one and it was fab.Enjoyed by adults and kids. Only wished me and the hubby used it more.Had 1 pic at the beginning.
Don't even give a second thought whether something is fashionable or not. If you love it, go for it!
I had one, a magic mirror! Just got the photos on a pen drive today!! If I wasn't being harassed or moaned at by everyone at my wedding I probably would of had a lot more fun with it!! Not sure the 40 photos I ended up with are worth what I paid to have it there though x
Overdone! Banned at my wedding!!!!!
We run a Photobooth company (with a difference as ours are vintage and a vintage caravan) and they are always popular....with all ages. You could say the same thing about DJs....you always have so why not have the fun of a Photobooth as well. They are a great way of entertaining guests who actually may not like dancing and (as in our case with an open booth) they are a lot of fun to be in and also to watch the shenanigans in the booths,
Photo booth was amazing fun at our wedding, the guests loved it. We got a guestbook full of photos and lovely notes - best money spent!
We and all our guests loved ours!!! Especially the kids x
We have hired a selfie pod! Same thing but takes up less room
Great I can't wait to have mine next week, I've not been to a wedding before which has had one and I loved the thought of having one then went to a works xmas do and there was one there we had so much fun we were constantly in there. X
I did a selfie station at my wedding more cost effective, and thought photobooths were corney. But my sister in law had one at her wedding and was a hit. Specially with my daughter
Loved my photo booth!
i would deffo i have 1 lots of fun keep your guests entertained so they dont get bored and its fun for your pictures of the wedding x
Every event I've been to with a photo booth has been hilarious and a great way to remember your night. Who cares if it's overdone?
we are having one. it's a good bit of fun. ours includes a guest book so i'm looking forwarded to seeing the photos everyone has taken; and it's a nice thing for guests to take away (something they actually will take as well) as a reminder xx
We're having one that's in a vintage vw camper! Loved the idea of a photo booth but so many of the glitzy ones didn't fit in with the rustic theme. Many do guestbooks too (so guests get a copy and the second goes int the book which they can sign) so saves you another thing x
I'd highly recommend priory lane photography. They set up a screen and props in a room of your choice, and a person take the pictures on a professional camera, this means it's better for group shots and the prints are great quality, we chose a room next to the bar. Guests loved it and we asked them to stick a copy of their pick into our guest book. It breaks the night up a bit as weddings can be long days. X
I feel like they are pushed on to you a lot and my sister who is also getting married feels the same . That's not the kind of vibes we want at either of our weddings
We had our wedding yesterday and had a magic mirror for 3 hours it was amazing well worth the money I have 100s of pictures of people dressing up and having so much fun all put into an album to remind us of our day def Worth it xx
No always a bit of fun and something to take home and remember the night by x
