I had artificial for our bouquets as they were so much cheaper and looked amazing... and real on the tables and button holes! I'm glad I didn't have a real bouquet as my hayfever was awful near the table displays!

Unfortunately real Flowers have gone up in price a lot because they are imported and dear old Brexit has had an effect. I did all my own last year and I'll admit there were shed loads 6 flower rings for the tables.2 pedestal displays one for the main table. 10 pew ends. 50 buttonholes. 5 bridal party buttonholes. 3 bridesmaids and mine and it cost me £750 wholesale! Xxx

I discovered a company called country baskets a week before my wedding. They're a cash and carry that's open to the public which specialise in things for florists and have lots of fake flowers and pre-made bouquets. They also have lots of other wedding accessories there - including gifts for the wedding party and decorations. I got my flower girl baskets from them - there was a whole aisle to choose from! They've got several stores around the country

I found out that everyone was quoting me a price based on what kind of flowers I wanted and try to change what I asked for because of the expensive but the florist I found who does them home charged me per item e.g. Bottom hole was like £9 each and mine bridesmaids are £25 each and then she just put on a 20% vat on top for purchasing the flowers which everyone had to do. All in all it was cheapest out of all quotes all really flowers and the best Iv ever seen.
To be honest I found her my googled maps as she was kinda close to be (sheffield area) then I found her Facebook page

You looking at 250-260 at least for you bridal party
Then 60-80 for your top table. Then just for the spray on your tables I would say 10-15 each hand full

Be careful with gyp, they can be quite strong smelling. We changed ours as our florist normally hides air freshener in her bouquets due to the smell

UKbride Administrator 30 Jun 2017

You're looking at £500 plus! I ended up buying silk and foam flowers, making everything myself and paid £200 xx

Marks and spencer do ranges for about £150 with brides/bridesmaids/button holes etc

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 30 Jun 2017

As you said, it really depends where your going, what you're having, and the ratio of cheaper "filler" flowers to roses/lilies.

We have got 1 large bride boquet, 5 bridesmaids, 1 Groom buttonhole, 2 dad buttonholes, 5 groomsman buttonholes, long and low table plus a tree root filled with David austen roses, 9 tables with gyps and eucalyptus "trees", a gyps and eucalypyus garland for the beam and a crate of roses etc for just under £1000. But then again I always wanted tons of flowers at my wedding and I love David austen roses which are expensive!

Definitely try and find a local business (much more reasonable from what I found) rather than a branded name florist or ones that do purely weddings
