Hi Have a look on e-bay they have alternative ideas such as a Ferris wheel, you can buy them in white or you can paint them yourself to make it cheaper :)

I did a candy buffet for my daughters birthday party. The jars were only £1.29 from home bargains and I bought little cardboard muffin cases to put the sweets in. Sweets were also from home bargains, Poundland and Lidl xx

I went to a wedding at Easter and instead of a Candy Cart they had a Candy Table. Everything was in Glass Jars with paper bags to put the sweets in at the start of the table. You could decorate it with Balloons and put a net frill round the table. Look in Home Bargains, they have different size glass jars and plastic scoops in there wedding section.

we had the hotel put aside a table. went to home bargains and the range for glass jars, from Amazon I got 200 sweet bags with our names and wedding date on for next to nothing. bought the sweets and from Dunelm mill found decorations to put on the table. it probably only cost us £20/30 rather than the hundreds you can be quoted with xxx

We had a 12ft candy table. Collect jars and glass bowls and order the bags offline scoops can be found in a lot of shops. Then all you need is someone with a bookers card to get the sweets to fill the jars and glass bowls

We got married 2 weeks ago and did our own sweetie table, used an old school desk that my parents had and bought different kinds of glass and plastic dishes from car boot sales to put the sweets in and had some paper bags printed with our names and the date on. Got the sweets from a cash and carry and the sweet scoops from home bargains..it was very popular and I'm still enjoying eating the left over sweets.
