In August 2019 my mother in law kindly bought my wedding dress after I found one I liked during a try on session. We are very close and this was a beautiful gift from her. Early 2020 our venue went into liquidation. Then Covid cancelled our new 2020 venue. In July 2021 Covid cancelled our 3rd venue. We're now getting married in 2022. 3 years after buying the dress I look different, feel different and the venue is completely different. I'm having 2nd thoughts about it. Should I just suck it up and wear it as it was a gift?
