I think you will be fine🤞👰🏼‍♀️🤵.... the country can't afford another lockdown, and by the sounds of things England want businesses reopened by April... im praying scotland follows suit rather than making it political.. 🙏. Xx

Mines 5th June... Postponed twice from last year... We are just going for it with whatever restrictions are in place at the time... Will have a bigger party later on... The only way we can do it. If we postponed again would be 2 years for another date and venue... Good luck to everyone x

I'm just hoping for any type of wedding now. I also get married November after postponing twice already. I think we will be able to have wedding but maybe still have a few restrictions in place.

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

No one knows, literally not even the government, unfortunately you just have to wait and see!

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

I'm hoping its abit better by then mines in September with the same amount of people. But I'm dreading cutting my list to less but if we have to we will as we moved ours four times now.

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

Ours was originally week we went into lockdown!!! Postponed until January then we postponed again as venue was closed. Fingers crossed we get married 21st December this yr!!!! CHRISTMAS WEEK eeeeekkkk. Although my colour scheme is going to look abit odd but, that's the least of my worries 💗

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

Ours is also November. I hope we will be in a much better position but we have accepted that we may still have reduced numbers xx

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

4th September here having had to reschedule from last year. We are considering just a small stripped back day now.

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

Mines meant to be beginning of May, after rebooking from last August. Really hope it goes ahead, only 15 max for ceremony and then up to 60 for Eve. Keeping everything crossed! 🤞🏻

I'm getting married 30th October this year after postponing from 31st October last year, I've cancelled the hotel event as I dont see me getting the 200 I originally planned and payed for and am now going registry office with 30(hoping I can increase to 50) then having a meal. Gunna have a party when everything back to normal x

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

We moved to october but have 100 in the day and another 100 on the night.not hopeful for that amount by october.x

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

Im hoping for august 7th but feeling very doubtful to have the wedding we planned we have 72 for the day and another 100 for evening

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

Mines sep we moved it from last year and have said we will keep moving it till we can have the wedding that we want with the people we want we don't want to have to reduce the number of guests due to covid rules and not have the wedding that we have dreamed of

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

3rd time lucky for us 11th september, guest numbers are around 120 day with another 40 evening. Keeping everything crossed x

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

Next year

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

Masks and social distancing until the end of the year, so we've decided to postpone our August wedding again until we can have the day we planned, with over 100 guests. 😢

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

Im getting married july postponed from last year, invited 46 for the day and upto 60 for the night, its going ahead even if i have to uninvite people and have no night do, the most important people will be there x

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

I was suppose to be getting married in April. We have postponed till October. Hoping it can go ahead with our 54 guests. If not we will postpone again until we can x

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

We have cancelled and are going to rebook when everything is back to normal numbers (don't think I can handle it if we had to keep postponing it) xxx

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

We’re booked for July. Having it in the garden with 20 and possible 10 added after dinner. We have a provisional reception booked but told we can move the evening to a later date if needs be so just concentrating on the garden bit and if we get to party later at night great. If not we’ll do it at a later date. Xxx

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

We are due to marry 4th June so far haven't had to postpone but cant see it going ahead as we don't want to cut anyone out due to restrictions we would rather wait a year if need be and have the wedding day we want with all our family and friends around us

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

End of October I hope to wed my mister, it will be the 14th anniversary of us getting together. 40 in the day, 80 total for the evening, and we hope that we don't have to cut down the numbers. With kids and all, we would only have our bridesmaids/best men/theirs and our kids if we are still restricted to 15.

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

I’ve just checked with a registrar & currently after lockdown it’s bride & groom & two witnesses each. I’ve just asked could that be parents & our child please as she’s young awaiting to found out if that’s allowed when weddings are allowed again. We postpone from Dec 2020 orginally 45 guests. Good luck xx

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

Our wedding is 28th October this year and at the moment we're planning to carry on as normal, we're not worrying about it yet

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

I’m due to get married august 22nd we’ve already had to postpone once already and I can’t cut my numbers as me and my partner are so close to our families, we have got a plan B but I would love my wedding to go ahead if we can, if not we will postpone the reception and night party and just get married at the registry office not what we wanted to do, but we have to what’s best for us, just fingers crossed we’re in a better position by august 🤞🏻we still have some things to organise but I’m so over it that’s not even exciting for me anymore, I’m scared and anxious to book anything else incase it’s get postponed again, I’ve been told this experience is supposed to be fun and exciting and to be honest I’ve hated every minute of planning my wedding, as it’s just been so stressful with everything going on, but I know I have to try and stay positive and just see what happens, if it happens, then it happens if it doesn’t then we will overcome that hurdle when we get to it!

I hope everything works out for you! 🤞🏻

UKbride Member 16 Feb 2021

We're booked in for 14th August, and we're going for our interviews for the notice of marriage next Thurs 😬

Wish it so wasn't in the air, but guess we gotta count our blessings, as when we put our deposit down for the venue last year, they said they'd be willing to be flexible with dates due to covid, and we're only doing a registry office Ceremony.

It's just that we both have large families, and we want our big party - as otherwise it wouldn't feel like a special day (for us) !

I'm hoping the vaccine drive works, and that it means we can get more people in (maybe we can get away with skimming some guests down to make it work! 🤔)

So far both our parents, my grandparents and I, all have had our first dose of vaccines, and hoping soon enough the fit and healthy people can get theirs!

Good luck people! 🍀
