This might be an incredibly silly question, but do children count as part of your final wedding guest numbers? There will only be a few but they will be babies/toddlers.
You would need to check with your venue as they will have price brackets - for instance mine doesn’t charge for u-3 & it’s half price per head for children between 3-12... x
They did at my wedding in October but maybe just because of covid tight numbers, best to check with venues xx
Depends on if they're eating or not, mine charged for kids meals at a fraction of the adults cost, but not for babies who were weaning or still being milk fed x
We got married a dew weeks ago with the limit at 15 guests and babies and children were counted in that. Xx
Our 4 month old had to be included in our numbers xx
Check with the venue. Some do 3 and under nor counted some have done 5 and under but it’s on venue basis so while one in the area may do that another may not
Yes they do x
If you're talking about covid restrictions then yes they do. We got married in December and a toddler and baby counted. If you're talking about the venue / meal costs, it depends on whether they're eating and your venue's rules so speak to them. Hope that helps.
They do but price wise it’ll depend on the venue we don’t pay for anyone under 3 and half price for 3-12 year olds
Ours aren’t included they have to be extra and only pay if they have the meal but I know it varies venue to venue ☺️
See they shouldn't be counted, they weren't when eating out and even now under 11s don't count towards group numbers. Can't understand why they would count in a wedding. Its ridiculous really.
Yes they do, Under 2s were free at my wedding but if i had any extras (out of the total allowed on the package) they would charge for the kids first so say i had 56 (including 10 children) guests and 50 included in price, they would charge 6 child instead of 6 adults, best asking your venue how they do it x
If its Covid restrictions yes they do. If you mean for cost, ours were half price but babies not eating were free :)
For covid restrictions some venues and registry offices have allowed 1 or 2 children in addition to the 15. Others are being stricter so you would need to check on an individual basis
Yes if it’s due to covid restrictions
Yes they are counted we got married at end of sept and all kids were counted our youngest was 1 x
I just got married Saturday you can have 6 people, it will count children and they have to remain in their seat at all times. I left my toddler at home for that reason
My brother got married in October and my 2 week old son counted as 1 guest ( you wouldn’t of even known he was there) x
Very much venue dependent
In Wales under 11's don't count in the numbers for covid restrictions.
I think it depends on the venue and how old the children are, my venue said any child that is bigger than high chair age counts because then they need to have their own seat at the table
I think any child you are providing a meal for counts
Yes, they may not be charged for but they count due to insurance.
If you're providing a meal for them then yes xx
I have been told children count for ceremony but not for meal! So if we wanted to have someone take the children outside and wait we could have more adults, that won't work for us as its our children and part of the ceremony so we will have to ask some adults to wait at the bar and join us for the meal.......if it goes ahead! X
In terms of covid restictions yes, babies and children need included on seating plans but children under 12 usually half price , i gave 3 different totals nov 2019, adults children and babies
It might depend on the venue.
Ours had a minimum number of adults specifically
For mine if they are eating a childrens meal then I have to pay and they are part of the numbers. If they are too young to eat and the parents are providing food then I don't have to pay for them so I don't think they count. I will still have to let the venue know though so they can provide high chairs
It will be worth mentioning them to the venue as they may needed to be counted in for insurance purposes. However If they are eating a meal and need a seat at the ceremony. They they will have to be counted in numbers. X
Depends whether you mean regarding venue means or covid restrictions. If covid then yes, otherwise check with your venue
In my package, under 3’s are free, 3-17 are £20 and then 18 is £81.. I would check with your venue as I think all are different xx
For covid restrictions babies and toddlers count but for cost per head it depends on the individual venues pricing structure.
Yes
