We love our video !

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

It was the best decision we made. I love ours!! X

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

We love our video!

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

We were contemplating whether to have one or not too however as everyone says the days go by so quickly and photos are lovely but the video will capture words and moments the photos won’t.. we decided to book one and Although our wedding isn’t for a little while I can’t wait for afterwards to watch the video back 🙂

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

I was unsure, but then I thought about watching it back years later and seeing everyone captured in time. Me and my fiance have lost a lot of family over the last few years and wish I we had more videos of them xxx

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

100% yes! It’s a big added cost but the best decision we made 🙂

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

We wanted one but it was so expensive. So we had a family friend video it instead! We love having the video, especially as we couldn't be looking everywhere at once to see everyone's reactions, but it didn't cost us anything...

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Do it! Love our video so much, our photos are amazing too but the video is just so much more 🥰

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

100%. Remembering your memories is one thing, still photos of the day is another, but a moving video that captures everyone there I think is magical. It’s one thing we could not scrimp on

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

100%! Knowing now after the wedding I’d have been happy to cut at least half the stuff we spent money on and just have photographer and videographer! I can’t express how quick the day goes... everyone says it but I’m normally the person looking at the time thinking urgh is it acceptable to go yet or my feet hurt or something.... but not on our day!! It flew by and I enjoyed every second, our ceremony was at 2 which for guests I think worked well but for me, now I wish we had it earlier 😝 love that I can watch the video back!

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

We were contemplating about this... then came across Illusion Productions and they were brilliant. Very professional and very quick for editing. We absolutely love our video. I couldn’t recommend them enough.
You won’t be disappointed

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

I’ve booked one. It wasn’t even a compromise I was willing to make with my fiancée. One day, our families are not going to all still be with us and I’d like it all on video to ensure I have a crystal video of my dad walking me down the aisle and making a speech xx

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

100% yes. Checkout our range at http://ohanafilms.co.uk

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

We didn’t have one but bought a video camera (a Christmas gift for both of us that will be used again and again) and got a member of our wedding party to film it. We just gave her a list of key moments to film. I’ve then downloaded video software to edit it myself. I know it’s not going to look as professional but I’ve enjoyed putting the video together and getting to choose which parts make the final cut myself. It’s captured all the memories guests arriving, ceremony, drinks reception, speeches, cake cutting and first dance. It just depends what you are looking for and if you have the time to do it but we saved a lot of money doing it that way.

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

100%the pictures are not enough. Best thing we spent money on tbh x

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

If you can stretch to one do it! My husband wasnt overly keen on the idea. But since has admitted it was probably one of the best things we did!

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

I used a company called Shoot Ot Yourself, your guests shoot the wedding for you! Check them out. They are fantastic!

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Married twice. My videos are my most precious possessions. Even above photos. You get a feel in photos but a video is a while different level. I lost my Dad recently and to have his speech is just lovely.

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

I was so glad i got a videographer i love watching it back. Xx

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

I wasn't planning on having a videographer but after seeing my brothers and sister in laws wedding video I will definately be having one now. Its amazing to watch back xx

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Edit your wedding do the same - we’re using them. Cheaper than a videographer. Guests film it (you choose to have between 2&6 cameras) then you send them back & they edit it x

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Best decision we made!! Watch my all the time.

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Definitely! I missed so much on our day and it is the best bit x

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Definitely!

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Yes! Would def recommend! I'm so glad we had one

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

In brought a camcorder and asked my brothers to video for us 🥰

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

We were going to have one, but if you are having a church wedding (not sure about others) I would check as you have to pay quite a bit of money on top of the videographer cost to the church for recording the organ music, due to copyright and other things. It ended up costing too much to have one, so we asked our groom's party each to film certain parts of the day on their phones (all had top of the range phones). We ended up with the whole day on video from many different perspectives which is a really lovely keepsake.

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

We couldnt afford a videographer so my photographers put our camcorder on their stand and videotaped the actual ceremony and moved it to video our sons clarinet performance. We didnt have speeches as we didnt want them so nothing to film there. My only regret is not asking someone to video our first dance.

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

We were not going to bother , but saw our friend video of there wedding and decided to do it , so glad we did because the day goes so quick you miss things , so it's good to look back , and our 1st Annivesary Is this Aug , plus my best 3 friends did a reading and I lost her last month to covid 19 she was 49 and left her 7 year old son so I'm glad I have that of her , it's worth the cost you never know what's around the corner x

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

I’m tempted to do it myself tbh.

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Yes the day goes way to fast and it’s nice to see everyone having fun and the video messages are a great x

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Yes, definitely. Our videographers (The Filming Company) were incredible and actually helped make the day better with some little suggestions whilst we were getting ready! Having our videos to watch back is wonderful. The one thing I would say is it’s worth investing in a proper videographer - some I’ve seen from others weren’t great, but the team at TFC are worth every penny

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

100% yes!! Worth every penny xx

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

My fiance is a photographer and videographer, he finds that a lot of people really regret it if they dont get a videographer

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

I didn't bother. Realistically when and how often are you going to watch it?

I'd rather spend the money on good food and a good band as THAT's what your guests remember. My wedding is still talked about occasionally five years later because the band was so good and we had a stonking steak pie for the meal rather than the traditional over-dry chicken

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Probably my biggest regret is not getting one.

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

We didnt have a videographer at our wedding and I REALLY regret it. It's so lovely looking back on all of the photos our friend family and photographer took but i wish we had a video to watch back and re live our day. Looking back now I think it's the only thing our wedding was missing. I get that the additional cost comes into play but personally if i could do over i would choose a video over a cake any day. Good luck with your weddings brides and grooms to be ❤

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Yes yes yes!! I wanted one so much and I am so glad I did! Gareth W Hughes did ours! This is one of the linked pages. UltimateWeddingVideo.co.uk Fan Page

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Definitely , I saw parts of the day I’d missed. Much prefer the video to photos, hearing your vows etc

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Def the videographer captured everything in the speeches that you instantly forget about. Not to mention all the important people on the day, such a sentimental thing to watch back xx

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

We couldn't allocate the budget for a full videographer so we used a company called Friends Film It - you hire video cameras from them for the day and then send them back for them to edit the footage and return it to you on DVD. Much cheaper than a full videographer but we still captured all the memories. I gave certain guests laminated cards i'd made asking them to film key moments so we didn't miss anything. Definitely worth doing and I don't regret a penny I spent on it.

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Just got my video back and I saw all sorts I missed on the day. It’s lovely to be able to take it all in. I would recommend it.

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

We are having one cause I want to look back on things that we have maybe missed. The day will go that fast and least this way it’s a great memory rather than just photos. Xx

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Think it is definitely worth having a videographer.
I regret not having one at my wedding last year!
Photos are great but wished I had a video to look back on.

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Best thing we did, hands down.

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Without a doubt - the video is my favourite thing from our wedding and makes me cry every time. The amazing ryandevine.co.uk did ours and i will treasure it forever 😭🥰😍

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Yes!! So glad we did

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

My sisters fiancé recorded our wedding and I’m so glad he did! Only been married 3 years and we lost my mum last year so I love that I have a video of such a big day and am able to re live it and see her happy and smiling.

If you can’t afford a videographer then just ask someone to maybe record it?

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

We had one and I have no regrets. It might have been our best purchase. He captured guests who the photographers had missed and its wonderful to relive our dancing in the evening and hear our vows out loud. The video really captured the day and I've watched it loads. Our one did a mini vid we could post online and a full version with the whole ceremony.
I also had a friend who's photographer wasn't very good and they managed to get stills from their video.
Couldnt recommend Bradley Jadir enough if you live in the Surrey area.

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

Looking back, if I had to choose one or the other - I would say I would rather have the videographer than the photographer.
I paid a professional over £1000 for my photos and my cousin did my wedding video for free as a gift.
I was beyond disappointed with 90% of my photos and 3 years later I'm still gutted about them! But my video is amazing, far better memory than most of my photos X

UKbride Member 21 May 2020

I regret not having one. The whole day went in a blur as there was so much going on, so many things to do and keep an eye on and I would love to look back on it and actually remember more than bits. 🤗

UKbride Member 22 May 2020

Yes we love our wedding Video. We missed a few wedding pictures off our list and regret not having them done but having the wedding video has made up for that. It’s amazing

UKbride Member 22 May 2020

Absolutely yes! 😊

UKbride Member 22 May 2020

I’m really happy to have booked a videographer, I can’t wait to see the finished result and in my opinion well worth the money, we are using Modus Wedding Films 🎥

UKbride Member 24 May 2020

You could say I'm biased because I now run a video business, but that's actually partly BECAUSE I regret not having one. The day goes by so fast. Plus with the COVID situation weddings are likely to get smaller, so it would be good to have a professional video to share with those that couldn't make it. Just my honest opinion.
