Photobooths..... Who has hired one and who has done one themselves...... How did you DIY and any tips?
I hired one.. It was manned by the company so I didn't have to worry about it x
Weve hired a magic mirror as fits the theme just like photo booth
We hired one and again it was manned by the company. It was so much fun and the book they gave us after was worth the little extra we paid. They asked all the guests to write next to their pictures. It makes us smile every single time.
Hired and best thing ever well worth the £300 xx
Hired. Was amazing xx
I'm making mine you can buy back drops from amazon and then just some cheese props weve slowly bought over the past year
Instax £70. 100 refills £50. Props £20. Photo album £20. Background set up £40.
Just add a sign to prop table asking guests to be kind of others when using and to leave photo in photo album. Also ask them to NOT shake the photo as, unlike the band Says, you do not shake a Polaroid picture
We had a magic mirror. It was the best thing. My 88 year old nana even had pics taken. They are expensive but so worth the money xx
Not sure where you are based, but we used Huddlebox Photobooths (South West) they have an all in price, which was the cheapest by miles, including double prints, a photo guest book with all the photos and a USB stick of all images all ready by the time they left, really fab service 🙌
We had 1 at our wedding well worth the money £200 everyone enjoyed it especially the kids x
We did our own DIY, a flower wall as back drop ...& then an A Level student photography took the photos on the evening ,
Really brilliant & cheap .......
Well worth it to save money for life after 1 wedding day for doing house and garden up .......
Doing our own as the photo booths for hire don’t really go with our theme, so just having it set up on a table with a Polaroid camera, guest book, glue stick and pens with a sign bought off the internet that explains to take a pic, stick in the guest book and leave a message, less than £50
Dan Blakey everyone says was worth the money so I think were making the right decision with the mirror x ours is manned also and unlimited prints x
We are using hashtag printing. Instead of a booth anyone can take a photo on their phone anywhere in the venue use our specific # and then the company has a Victorian looking camera that prints off a Polaroid for the guest and one for us. The guests photos are pinned on lighted trees either side
We had one and was great fun but i hate all the photos of me as it was a white blow up one and the light reflection on my dress was awful and made me look pregnant 🙈 🙈 my friend did a diy one and it was beautiful just get a few selfie sticks and get ppl to hashtag or tag you in all the photos x
Background stand, backdrop, selfie stand and props £75. Most from Amazon, the props I got from Facebook marketplace x
I had the magic mirror, was a great addition to the wedding x
We've got one included in our package. It's a "magic mirror" one x
We hired one and it was manned, my favourite photos from the whole day were taken in the photo booth. Everyone loved it
Sorry to jump in on this thread but for those who hired one, what sort of time is best to have it there? Ours is coming for 3 hours and we are not sure to have it before or after dinner xx
We are having a magic mirror for £300
We were lucky enough to win the hire of our photo booth and so pleased we got it as it gave a different view of the day when the guests were more relaxed and natural x
We have hired a selfie mirror .... excited
We hired vintage booth Scotland and omg it was amazing everyone in the picture got a copy of picture, there was a extra picture to put in the guest book with a comment, afterwards we got a USB with all photos on it plus a disk our props were amazing and not cheap poundland ones, if you have a blue light card you get discount too amazing
