Table plan

Hi everyone, I still need to make a table plan. Can I please see your home made ones for inspiration? I am not the most creative but would love to try x

We didn't have one... My husband owns escape rooms so we gave each guest a named envelope with an escape room style puzzle in, which when worked out correctly told the which table to sit on! Everyone loved it, of course there were the odd few who had no idea but they could just cheat and look for their names on the placecards! 😂

I’m going to use my antique 100 year old gold mirror that belonged to my great uncle. I wanted a frame to fit in with my venue which is a stunning fully furnished exclusive hire castle, I was really struggling for something that would match the decor so I thought it needs to be an antique. I found a company that will print your table plan on to a clear sticker that will stick on the mirror so all you will see is the words..

Our wedding was Disney themed and bought a big board, painted it black, cut out mickey mouse heads and stuck them on with the names typed. Then framed it. Didn't take long but looked very effective on the venue's easel.

I haven't got a picture on my phone but I used a big mirror of my mums and went to a place that printed stuff out.. To bring the table names etc on.. Cost about £10 all together and it was beautiful x

It was very good for getting people talking.

We went to a wedding where they had made the table plan to look like an x.ray viewer cos the bride was a radiographer.

Borrowed a mirror from my parents, chalk pen and wrote myself. Cost me about £2.50 for the pen.

We used a large mirror with an antique frame that we found in a charity shop and then used chalk pens to write on it! I loved the way it turned out but all the pictures of it have people in so it isn’t very clear! You can find similar ideas on Pinterest!

I used photos of places we had been on dates as the table names and listed the people. Then had stands on the tables with the matching pictures.

How about a lucky dip!!! Out all names in a hat and pull out names for each table. A good mix of people

Not the best picture but my husband designed ours then we had it printed locally, we had a festival theme and we’re both into rock so we made it into a festival poster with some of our favourite bands and some venues we’ve been to x

I just had a multi picture frame and wrote the names for each table in the frames and the spare frames had pics of us! 🙂
