When to start dress shopping??

Anytime!

I’ve got mine and I get married April 2021, however I haven’t found a seamstress for alterations yet!

Start now enjoy the process, no worrying the nearer the date.

Im getting married October 2021 and already got mine xxx

I got my dress in January and I get married in may 2020.

Now. Some dress shops order them and they can take 6months to do xx

Some dresses have long lead times, I would shop nine months out from your date

I get married Augest and haven't got mine! Think it's me being to fussy tho! Haha x

I brought mine this month and we are getting married next July. The dress has been ordered and won’t be here until March.

I get married May 2021 too. I have my dress, got it from a Wedding Fayre day where it was 3x cheaper and my veil was thrown in for free. Will look to do alterations and fittings later next year (after losing a few pounds) :) x

Leave yourself roughly 9months to a year to make sure there’s time for any alterations if needed

You be should be aiming to order your dress about a year before the wedding to allow enough time for it to arrive and have any alterations

I’m having mine made, I’ve chosen the design, they measure 4 months before incase of weight gain/loss which for me is in 2 weeks 😳. We only gave ourselves 9 months from booking to sort everything out though haha

I get married in May 2021 also. I brought mine in August as I fell in love with it. It’s going to the dressmaker in the Feb of that year for final alterations.

I get married in June 2021 and had planned to start looking in the new year to give time to find one and then have it ordered, altered etc however I came across a dress in a bridal shop, made an appointment to try it on to rule it out more than anything and ended up buying it! Dresses get discontinued and new ones come in so I don’t think there is any harm in starting to browse because you just never know!

Around a year before I think, I went to a bridal shop cus I found my bridesmaid dresses for a brilliant price and she recommended me to come back may 20 to look for a dress (my wedding is may 21) xx

I’m getting married April 2021 and thinking about going in December when the new spring collections come in to some stores. Go whenever you fancy! There is no right time

I had my dress about 4 months before the wedding and I really second guessed by the time the wedding was here, I still wore it and loved it really, I got mine from the internet for bridal stores I would say a year you need alter time and a second alter to make sure it fits you perfectly! X

Most bridal stores take at least 6-8 months to have the dress ready without the alterations and that is if you find the perfect dress on your first visit. I suggest that you start looking for it soon so that you don't have to stress about it later. That way you can take your time searching for your perfect dress. No harm in looking early

I get married July 2021 and have mine- oops. It was only by pure chance we found it. But I love it so that’s all that matters 🙂 and I don’t plan on changing size much 🙂

I’d say give yourself a year for the dress to be ordered arrive and all the fittings xxx

I’m may 2020, went dress shopping in July. My dress won’t be in till March. Give yourself plenty of time, I was lucky and found my dress in the first shop xx

I got married last May and started shopping early 2018.

I’m getting married June 21 and I’m looking at the moment for styles, going to a couple of dress fittings so I know the style I like suits me

Best time for you to start looking for your dress and save some money is between now and February next year, good look
