2 years, got loads booked and deposits paid etc, nearing the year count down now to November 2020, times is going crazily fast, very exciting, the more organised you can be the better, Less stressful, more enjoyable
From getting engaged so 2 years 4 months. Enjoyed every minute of it and it was worth all the tine spent planning it.
We were engaged for a year before booking a venue and we booked the venue for 2 years 5 months later so we had plenty of time to save and plan. I have 2 years to go and I’m now starting to actually plan things and make decisions
Engaged for 2 years, planned for 4 months. The dress arrived really early so I had to plan around having no where to store it. We got married on a Wednesday, I wanted the date 24/7 to symbolise the commitment being 24/7 and the midday date made everything easier as I was competing with very few or no other brides!
Started planning about 2 years ago - now have just over 3 weeks until the big day! 😱😱😱
9 months been planning one month and got most of it sorted already. I have been very lucky with availability
When I was about 9 xx
I started planning in March, I get married in 10 days.
A year from engagement to wedding, found that to be more than enough time. Depends how busy you are normally, I don't work so I had all day every day to plan!
Booked 2 weeks ago.. getting married in February 2020 so just 5 months from booking to wedding. Have arranged practically everything in the last 2 weeks. Just table decoration, bridesmaid dresses and shoes left to do. Have paid for over half of it all already too
Got engaged end of May this year and our wedding is this weekend. Got everything planned in that time. Was very intensive and took a lot of time though
Just over a year. We booked our venue last March and we are marrying next April, we were lucky cos our venue isn't well known but popular venues can get booked up very quickly.
A year and 4 months, we started planning the day after we got engaged. It was on holiday in Thailand and it was a storm and we had to spend the day at the hotel, so we got ideas together of what we want, guest numbers etc. It was fun! We came back to UK ready to search for venues, with a good idea of what we want. Its never too early to plan and save
Just booked all mine for 2021 now have 2 years to plan and pay can't wait x
planning straight from engagement but the venue was booked within a few weeks for less that a year away at the time of booking. right venue right price but the offer only lasted for certain dates x
6 months, had been together 16 years and engaged for 2 when we got married, we weren't in a rush to do it :)
It'll be just under 4 years when I get married in under 2 years time!

Started booking ours 16 months, just under 8 to go 😁😁
Just less than a year
I've given myself 12 months to save, plan and book everything. We have been together for 20 years though so no clue what the sudden hurry is 🤦️
The first thing we did was book the venue and we had 6 months from there to do the rest ☺
Just got engaged last month and already planning for my wedding in August 2023 although I will be doing my dissertation and final year of uni in the run up to my wedding so don't want to leave stuff until the last minute
Venue was booked 15 month is advance, and started doing little bits when I found something I liked , we sent invites out about 10 months before because it was the Easter holiday weekend - we wanted to give people plenty of notice xx
Got engaged in Nov 2017 and started planning and booking pretty much right away. We get married 8 weeks today.

I got most of my ideas together first and still deciding whether to do an new years eve wedding or have a summer wedding can't decide as we got together on new years eve are first born was born 23rd of December and year later so it just feels right but also thinking of who will actually turn up is the problem x
6 weeks, and only 4 weeks for the reception!
We've booked August 2021 and the save the dates are already going out because it's key holiday and festival season. Planning will then go on a break for 6 months or so (attending fayres in this time) and then we'll jump back to it ;)
We got engaged April 21st this year and getting married May 9th next year, so about a year and just everything is planned and/or booked already.
