Elopement query

Has anyone ever eloped with a baby in tow? We would love to get married within the next year however every venue is coming way above budget or has minimum number requirements, we do not have a big family/friend list so we are struggling to make up numbers and therefore we are now favouring an elopement wedding. Our son would be between 6-18months old at the time of the wedding but I'm not sure if practically this would work and just looking for anyones experiences or recommendations in this situation. Thank you
