Pets

Hey everyone! What plans do you have regarding your pets? We have a dog and will most likely not have him with us on the day. What are your plans? Xx

Kennel is the most obvious answer, since I assume most of your friends and family will be at your wedding

Dog friendly hotel :) she gets to chill in the bridal suite, and we can do some pictures with her after the ceremony :)

I’m going to find a dog sitter who can have her in their home, rather than a kennel

Booked someone to pick him up from my parents house the morning of the wedding. They brought him to my wedding for an hour and then had him overnight and dropped him back off at my parent’s but you could always find someone to just have him overnight if he’s not coming to the wedding.

My two are being involved in ours. We have a super dog friendly venue and when they have had enough they will go and chill in the room.

My parents are putting their dog in kennels but only because they have quite a way to travel. I'd have had him there if he were nearby!

Or you could look at pet sitter who would come and visit or stay overnight at yours if your dog is unnerved in kennels

My dog would ruin the day! Love her but she’s not invited as so naughty! ️

Our venue was minutes from home so dad nipped home after the meal to walk them then came back again in time for evening reception.

My dog is a giant idiot. He is going to kennels with all the other family dogs. It’s just an extra stress we don’t need.

My two are going into kennels as we are going on honeymoon afterwards. They are getting kennelled together so I’m not worried about them.

I took my furbaby to a lovely lady from pet stay. They have dog sisters that look after dogs in their homes, my dog is very nervous so having him at our wedding was not a good idea and he's not very good with other dogs so it had to be only him there. We went to visit her and her home first and he had a good run around. I would highly recommend them they have people all around the country who work for them xxx

My two are going to be my dogmaids 😍. Our church allows them and my venue is in our grain store so no problems with them being there

My dogs came to the ceremony, the bridesmaids had a dog each instead of bouquets. They were on site all day so family took it in turns to see to them but mid afternoon we got a local dog walker to come and collect them and walk them for an hour. I panned my venue around the dogs haha

Our rabbit is our world, however all the people who we trusted to look after her were at the wedding, so we found a lovely home-from-home sitter for her, really close to where my mother lives. So we dropped her off the day before the wedding, & my Mum picked her up the day after, so she was only there for two nights, so whilst we were on honeymoon, she was with my Mum. She's my world. (see profile pic!)

Had ours with us. And she spent the wedding night with us in a yurt.
She's an important part of the family x

Kennels xx

We love our little bichion but he'd be a nightmare at our wedding! He can be very naughty and it would stress him (and us) out with all those people. So he's off to a small, family run kennels. It totally depends on your dog's temperament and the venue I think! 😀

We'll be putting our dog in kennels, depending on when we go honeymoon itll either be for a couple of days or 2 weeks lol

We had our dog with us for the whole day. He whined all through the ceremony and rolled in poo when we were having our photos taken, but we wouldn't have had it any other way! Apart from the poo... I could have done without the poo...

My dog is going on a 10 day holiday. A family that lives near me looks after dogs in her house. They already have two and he loves it there. He is spoilt rotten and loves playing with the kids! Totally recommend a dog sitter over kennels in my expererience!
