Hi, i have been thinking of getting wedding insurance is it a good idea? If so where do i look? TIA x
I had Debenhams good value
Absolutely get it, massive piece of mind for about £40! We just went on a comparison website
Definitely worth getting we went with debenhams as it came highly recommended by lots of couples and was a really good deal
Got ours from Debenhams as well
We didn't get it, and fortunately didn't need it. There are A LOT of terms and conditions with it. A LOT of eventualities that aren't covered by it. Not trying to put you off, just before you get it read their polices word for word so you're not disappointed if something does go wrong and they don't cover it. I work in insurance (not wedding) so I always recommend it. But just make sure you know what you're buying before you do x
I went on a comparison website and eventually got it for £36 with the insurance emporium
We didn’t get it but all of the expensive stuff I paid on credit card. For example the venue, the entertainment package, the room decor package, the wedding cake. Paid it straight off however your credit card covers you if someone goes bust etc. We were fortunate the day went without a hitch. Or apart from I forgot to practise a first dance and almost forgot to tell the DJ which song we had chosen good luck for your perfect day
I got mine from John Lewis, glad I did as our reception went bankrupt
I'm getting it I think personally it's a must
yes it’s a must my mum got married 2 years ago and didn’t get insurance and 6 weeks before the day her venue went bust so had to pay out another couple of thousand for another last mi ute venue
Definitely worth it. I got ours from Debenhams. We didn't need it, but it was definitely worth it xxx
I got ours from debenhams a couple weeks ago. only cost £60 and got a £20 voucher to spend online or instore
Defo worst it just in case! I went on money Saving expert and it look me to cover my wedding.co.uk & cost me £35!
Does it insure against the handsome prince turning into a toad after you marry him.
I purchased mine from Debenhams X
Yes yes yes! It's so important. As a wedding coordinator i always advised my couples to take out insurance and they really did. They often thought I was suggesting they would split up but I had couples who were made redundant (so couldn't afford to get married), someones dad died a few weeks before the wedding and another groom broke his legs a few weeks. It even covers you if one of your suppliers goes bust or damages your wedding dress for example. You just never know why you might need to cancel and you could lose thousands and thousands.
Definitely Debenhams, we got the voucher for £20 to spend in store.

Yeah definitely, it's not too expensive either
Don’t go to Debenhams as I have a bad feeling about them going the same way Frasers did. John Lewis is where I got mine. I’d say wedding insurance is important.
ive looked but not got any yet every one has told me to try Debenhams or m&s xx
Def need to look into getting it now
