We’ve got presents for both sets of parents, groomsmen, bridesmaids and flowergirls. And I’ve got for the groom and he’ll get for me for in the morning x

This is what I've got -
- Groom - cufflinks that say 'of all the walks that we've shared, this one is my favourite" on one of the links then the other had the date and time of our wedding.
My Grandad had the same. (Gave them as their Christmas presents as the wedding is only 3 weeks away.)
My Grandma and the groom's Mum are going to get some kind of jewellery.
Bridesmaids are getting Jewellery too and a robe for the morning of the wedding.
Flower girl is getting a teddy (she's 4). And the best man and father of the groom are having cufflinks.
All presents will be given before the day for them to wear. I've been to multiple weddings and find it an absolute ballache when people start giving presents during speeches, just gets long winded and guests get bored. (My opinion).

I always thought they were for the people who had helped you with the wedding and other things up to then and for the wedding party eg best man bridesmaids etc

We’ve got the same as well as both dads and all ushers too. We also have flowers for guests who have offered a service (hair, cake etc.) x

I dont think gifts are neccesary, wedding are expensive enough.
I might stretch to flowers form mothers and a bottle of something for the fathers (but given after or before the wedding not on the day)
Anything else is just more expense in an already expensive day.

We didn't make anything of gifts really. We did leave a little something on the ushers and bridesmaids chairs and a gift to MIL as she gave us a massive amount of help. But again it was left on her chair. Speeches were fairly informal. For all the kids present we left them a colouring book and small toy and large bubble wand.

So far all we’re doing are;
Mother of the Bride
Mother of the Groom
Father of the Bride
Father of the Groom
Bridesmaids
Groomsmen.
There will be wedding favours (something hopefully that they can keep as a momento) for all the other guests.
You’re paying for enough, everyone is getting a free meal and a day-long drinking party 😂
I’ll only buy gifts for people who have helped in the wedding, wether it’s financially or physically. The gifts are going to be simple and nothing extravagant.

Father of the Bride if applicable? And witnesses if different from the above wedding party members?

Flowers are a great idea and local florist or Morrison’s are contracted with a florist where they do amazing bouquets for special events at great prices
