I was going to but found it was going to cost more. I saved on money and time by just hiring a venue dresser. Plus I didnt have the hassle of taking home a load of stuff I'm never going to use again xx

Yes I’m making mine! I’ve got loads of jam jars from Hobbycraft and loads of lace and ribbon that’s matching my bridesmaids and table runners and then just little candles. I’m also asking a tree surgeon very nicely if he’ll be able to help out for the rustic feel!

We have had a tree cut down in our garden so going to cut that in to discs and been collecting old jam jars so we will just be paying for the lace to stick to the jars. Our florist is then putting flowers in the jam jars costing £12 a table

We're getting married by the sea and are using large sea shells with air plants in them. The nice thing is that you can make them up well in advance saving the extra stress closer to the day :)

Yes! We're going to have a travel theme so some miniature models from various places, paper flowers made from old maps in gin bottles recycled from someone else's wedding, and probably some more stuff still to be decided! Doesn't need to be too complicated or full on to look good

Keep simple. We collected glass jars for about 6 months. And had some flowers in. Some floating candles in another and some like scrabble letters for a crossword left on the table. My MIL sorted it for us basically as she likes crafty things like that. Also had some organza runners and a couple of bunting banners.
