Depends how big your budget is I guess. Plain white shouldn't cost you anything. But they do sound a really great idea if your budget allows. Ive seen glitter runners that look good as well. Just bear in mind things often get spilt on the tables by guests so if you hire them make sure you get the additional damages cover included so you don't have to replace. I used some of the spare chair sashes to use as table runners for my evening reception. They were a peacock green organza and they looked awesome with my peacock themed table centres that I made.

Get some Cristal gems to scatter in the centre of the table. Have tea lights then they sparkle in the evening xx
