Make a donation on everyone's behalf to a charity that would mean something to you and your partner. You can then put a wee card at everyone's table saying a donation has been made in their behalf

At the minute quality save has little jar ‘wedding day’ candles for 59p- they look really nice and lots of people burn candles these days!

I got cheap drinking glasses from Wilko (4 for £1) and decorated them with people's names using glass pens. They used them at the reception so no-one lost their drink, and then took them home!

Most of it will be a waste of money.. nobody keeps that stuff.. even seeds.. most will just get thrown away after the wedding... at least poeple will probably eat sweets. people only have so much room in their lives to keep things.

Im having a Gin station and guests can help themselves to a drink, ive been to so many wedding and all the favours as lovely as they were end up in the bottom of a draw only one that gets used is a key ring bottle opener

We donated to a charity on behalf of our guests, then popped a sign next to our centrepiece explaining so. The money went to something far more worthwhile and it also saved on table space!
