Honeymoon list! Has anyone used the honeymoon sites that guests can make financial contributions to? Like buymyhoneymoon or patchwork? Is there such a thing as a good, free one? I like the idea of guests being able to donate certain amounts, e.g. a drink on the plane for £10 or a trip for £50 etc.
Amazing customer service, flexible gift list. We are using them and you can make cash contributions to the honeymoon or you can add gifts that you’d like as well, or experiences for the honeymoon as well.
https://www.weddingshop.com they do gifts and honeymoons and it’s completely free
We've booked our honeymoon through Trail finders and they offer a honeymoon page where our guests can donate however much they like through the website, by phone, in branch or even by post. They were running an offer where they contribute £100 themselves to start you off when we set ours up.
We've used https://www.buy-our-honeymoon.com/wedding-gift-list - single £55 fee at the beginning, but they don't take a certain percentage of your donations (which we preferred). Guests have said it's easy to use, and it's really customisable so you can have all sorts of different things on there. We had a great time putting it together!
We used Prezola and thought they were great, really customisable. We paid the one off fee (£59 I think but looks like it's free until the end of the month!) and then it's free for your guests to make contributions. They don't accept paypal so no background costs from that either.
If you’ve booked through virgin they have their own site you just set it up yourself on their site x
Honeyfund are free and were amazing!
We’ve used buy our honeymoon! Great as you can add whatever you like, so we’ve added miles so people don’t feel they have to spend lots xx
I'm using prezola it's free and fab!!
Thomas Cook do gift card that amount can be paid off for honeymoon.
Weddingshop.com are free and amazing. They are extremely helpful and don't force anything onto you.
We used buyourhoneymoon. It was so easy to put together and they just charge a one-off cost rather than taking a percentage of the gift which is what some websites do xx
weddingshop.com you can add a traditional gift list or ask for money donations towards a honeymoon etc.
We’ve booked our honeymoon through Virgin Holidays. They offer a Gift List page online but also give you free cards to pop in your invitations.
A lot of travel agents will offer the service as part of the package. That's what we are doing :)
we just going to ask guests to put to honeymoon fund as we dont really need anything so instead of say 5 guests buying horseshoe for example we could have it towards honeymoon ( also family holiday as taking our 3 kids with us) x
