Maybe look to delay, doing all those 3 big life things at once may be a bit ambitious. Depends what kind of wedding you want I guess. We waited longer for our wedding due to me being in full education again. I graduate this July and get married in September then will start looking to move to a bigger house starting next year. It's meant we should be able to pay off the wedding and honeymoon without having anything to pay off after due to having a few years to save and we are getting the wedding we want. You should enjoy planning your wedding, doing all those things at once may take away the enjoyment and just add stress.

Definitely delaying sounds like a good options as you said money it right with these important things going on. Don’t overstretch your self and possibly end up in financial difficulties. If getting married right now is is really important maybe a registry wedding with just a few ppl and in the future if you want have a bigger renewal. Good luck.

I’d probably delay the wedding by a year or so. If that’s not an option then go on eBay & Amazon it’s amazing what you can get on there. Getting married in a registry office is a lot cheaper xxx

Just delay the wedding. We had just bought a house last year and we are only just getting to the point where we are able to begin saving for the wedding. Id rather push ours back and afford what we want then try to rush it and regret it.

Cheap and cheerful. We are exactly the same. Doesn't matter how much or how little you have at the end of it we all end up with the same piece of paper. As long as you are with the one.

Do as much as you can yourself. Get prices of things you cant and then see which is better quality ans go there. Shop around look in sales

Don't get caught up in it all. Write a list of what you need, like and would love. Also I have found the app bridebook absolutely invaluable for keeping my spending down

Have your wedding out of ‘wedding season’ you’ll find the venues will very likely drop the price of hire. Ours did. £1000 down to £300! Plus a complimentary hotel room worth £140! And sample sales on dresses is another great idea! Just try and get in early so you get best pick. Although I was one of the last appointments of the weekend and still managed to find a dress I felt amazing in! Good luck x

100% time, we used all our savings buying a house, so set a date two years in advance and made a budget of how much we could save each month, so knew at what point in the future we could afford the wedding we wanted
