Hi I’m really struggling to try and find some shoes to wear for my wedding...

Hi I’m really struggling to try and find some shoes to wear for my wedding in August. I know I want a rounded closed toe with a bit of a heel and a bit of sparkle/bling. I’m only 21 so I keep finding shoes that are too mature. Does anyone have any suggestions? (I’ve been looking in most high street shops with no luck!)

Have you checked out Irregular Choice, Ruby Shoo and Joe Browns? Some are a bit on the pricy side, but there's definitely bling!

Mine were pretty much what you’ve described! From Irregular Choice, think they were called Ascot x

I second irregular choice. Some of them are a bit outlandish but they have more conservative ones.

I had Floxys which have just the right balance between bling and traditional

I’m also having this problem. I’ve sent 3 pairs back. I’m going bare foot at this rate.

Have you considered maybe buying a different colour shoe- maybe to match you colour scheme or some nice blue shoes as you something blue- I think that satin always makes shoes look like they should be for the more mature lady!!xx

Check out rainbowclub.co.uk I just bought my shoes from them. I am bias because I work for their sister company but the shoes are beautiful and you can also have many of the styles dyed to match. Good for bridesmaids and flower girls too ;-) x

I was looking for something similar to what you describe for my wedding last year - I looked everywhere for weeks but then suddenly spotted the perfect pair at Joe Browns for £40ish. They are really pretty but not overtly weddingy so have been able to wear them again. They are always bringing new styles out so worth keeping an eye on! Good luck!x

Rainbow club are by far the comfiest I found and they’re a little different to some of the others. I initially wanted Ted Baker style but when I saw them in real life they were really poorly made x

Depends how much you are willing to spend and what u looking for, I don’t want white shoes but still want them to be special, I’ve seen a pair of Jimmy Choos that have the type of heel that I want and it’s light pink/silver glitter!!

I had rainbow club shoes, simple with a bit of sparkle around the edge. Sooo comfy because they're extra padded and they have a blue gem on the sole - mine came with a poem which I think they all do.... "take a look at the sole of your shoe, I could be your something blue"
Perfect! X
