Our prospective venue has a carpark so very likely people will drive to us. The reception however will be held around a 10-15 minute drive away. The sat nav takes you to the farm that owns it and it's a slightly unusual route. How can we ensure people get there?

Include a simplified map with your invites or if it's viable you could have a mini bus maybe

Give people the address to get them in the right area and make 'Wedding This Way' style signs to put up as people approach the farm and to guide them in, and make sure prior to the wedding that you tell people to look out for them.

You can either make signs or draw a nice little map on the invitations

You could do a combination of these ideas. Include a little map in invitations and also have signs for when they decide to just follow the sat nav so they don’t end up in the wrong place. You could also have someone who knows the way drive at the front? Like, convoy style?

I am making a wedding website at the moment. You could include a page on there about how to travel between venues? This way if you are worried you can include more info than on an invite. 😊

Our wedding venue is a little obscure to get to. We just asked the owner for any tips to get there and they gave us some. Including for people to type into their satnavs the places name not just the address. Hope this helps in any way.
