Hi what kind of wedding favours are people having? I've got the children's favours sorted just struggling a little for ideas for the adults. Thank you in advance
Scratch cards x
I'm having charity wedding favours for a charity close to mine and my fiancé's heart x
We are combining our favour and place name.together with names magnets/keychain x
I did scratch cards for the men and handmade bracelets in my colour theme for the ladies
I’m not really bothering. Again, what’s the point in my opinion. I think I’ll just be doing sparklers that are personalised a bit and the guests can use them when it’s dark. Fun for the kids, and the adults!
My mum made little Mason jars with sweets in and a printed label with our names and date of wedding. Cost next to nothing to make and they can be reused
We're having sparklers xx
I have made wine glass charms
We’re not having favours as such. I’ve just bought a job lot of those face beer mats. And made a little tag that I’m going to peg on it saying something about take plenty of photos with your beer mat and left it at that. Cost me around £20 for 92 guests x
I am giving a lucky sixpence I'm also making wine glass charms which will double up as name cards. Both really cheap to do and gives me and my bridesmaid something to do together.
I'm having seed packets saying "let love grow"
I'm making cookies that'll also be place holders. X
Boxes with chocolates in for ladies and a bottle opener for the men x
We're having biscuits but also charity pins ... we've both chosen a charity that's close to our hearts n donated to those n bought pins to help raise awareness amongst our guests too x
we put gift bags in the hotel rooms for day guests. I find most wedding favours get left on the table anyway, so we gave everyone a drink for the night before and some other goodies.
We've got charity pins as well. And instead of name cards we've got wooden names that they can take home and double as favours, £23 for 50 people because a site was doing 50% off
We're not doing them.. Sent out fridge magnets with date & other info on, with the invites, So dont feel they are needed..
We bought mint imperials for our favours for adults and Haribo for the children x
We got personalised tea light holder per couple. They were well received and cheap too x
I had little boxes which contained a little bath bomb, a chocolate and personalised guitar pick as my husband is in a band
I was always under the impression that favours were originally an Italian tradition rather than an American idea as suggested.
The idea was that guests would receive a small bag or box containing 5 sugared almonds representing the five blessings of Health, Wealth, Happiness, Long Life and Fertility. Although I would have preferred to do the almonds for our wedding unfortunately there are so many dietary constraints (not least that H2B is allergic to nuts) so we are having a small yankee candle named 'Wedding Day' in little box with a printed heart label attached to the bow saying 'Thank you' with our names and the date. Most of our friends like and can use a candle and they cost little over £1 each to make up ourselves and look stunning.
Krispy kreme doughnuts x
As I live in wales we are having Welsh cakes
Because ours was an Easter wedding we had Easter eggs
We made a donation to charity and received pins to pop on the table with a little message on the card it was attached to! You can pick different pins as well! We went for snowflakes to match our December wedding! Everyone commented how lovely it was and most people had never seen it done before! Xx
We’re doing the wooden placenames as they are personal and can be taken home... and then some little chocolates scattered around the tables. Budget favours!
We made signs for the table to use the photo booth we hired as their favour so they could take away something they would actually keep and take home, went down a storm xx
As ours will be a cat theme , probably will get a cat novelty favour.
I'm buying jar candles and having some personalised thank you stickers/labels made to put on them
We're having individual chocolate pizza slices in personalised triangular boxes :) it was his idea haha! X
I'm having a macaroon each and also I'm doing little bronze/gold keys thay say 'on this day you will forever hold a key to our hearts' and will have our names and dates on
There are some really amazing ideas here they all sound amazing. Thanks xx
I'm having bubbles and little bags with chocs all bought from Amazon. Less than £50 for the lot...for 65 people.
Unfortunately our venue doesn't allow bubbles or they would of been a choice especially for kids. Xx
We are having mini jagermeister and red bull as that was our favourite shot when we were both a bit younger haha. The label will be specially designed for each adult guest x
