I recently realised that our venue has quite vibrant, warm colours in its gardens. I had wanted a darker shaded bridesmaid dress but I feel potentially that this may really clash with the gardens. When I lighten the shade however I am not as keen on the colour. Also, it's robbing me of the big contrast I wanted with my wedding dress. Am I over thinking this? Has anyone else had a similar issue?

Are you talking about the colours of the flowers? These may well change if you're getting married in a different season! Quite apart from that I'd go with whatever colours of bridesmaid dress you love. Definitely overthinking ;)

Just a bit overthinking haha. I don't think it'll make a difference what flowers are in the venue. Your photographer will probably have experience with this type of scenery and should be able to work with the colour differences.

Hmm. You may want to consider changing your bridesmaids for ones with differently-toned complexions; I’ve lost count of the weddings I’ve been to that have been irreparably spoiled by bridesmaids clashing with the gardens. Or the paintwork.

Just go with what you like... no one else is going to be thinking about clashing bridesmaids/flowers x
