Hi everyone! I will be buying the dresses for my bridesmaids, as well as their shoes, earrings and their flower crowns. Seeing as we don't have a very big budget we were thinking of offering all of those items to them as their bridesmaid gifts. What do you all think?

I think that's a super idea.

That’s a great idea! Have you thought about possibly putting the items in a fancy little keepsake box for them that they can open on the day?x

Not sure what else you would do with them? Unless they’re hired then the bridesmaids would always keep the dresses etc in my experience

I got mine jewellery they can wear on the day and keep as presents, the dress, hair and make up and bouquet. They just had to get their own shoes and with that I didn’t mind as the dresses were floor length and you could hardly see the shoes. x

I'm a bit confused, what else would you do with them? Surely they would be keeping them anyway x

I've made the jewellery for my bridesmaids, the posies are artificial so they have keepsakes, for the ushers and best man we've bought cufflinks that represent them as a gift to wear on the day and to keep :) xx

That's exactly what I'm doing. No gifts we are just going to pay for everything instead x

I’m doing that, but not the shoes - as they are wearing long dresses I’ve told them they can wear whatever shoes they like as long as they are either champagne, ivory or rose gold. We’ve got a small budget too, I wouldn’t buy their shoes for them as the dresses are already hugely expensive....x.

I think that’s a lovely idea. Especially if you choose them all together and then you know they love them and will wear them again 👍🏻 x

We bought they're dresses, shoes and a bracelet, the bracelet was their 'gift'

That sounds like the norm to me I've been a bridesmaid twice and that's what I received as the presents (jewellery etc was given on the day to make it more special and shoes before hand to make sure they fit).
