Hi brides . Are many of your weddings local to where you live ? Same district/ county or anyone getting married further away or even abroad?
I want mine more or less local in my area but willing to go further out if thats where the venue i really want is
Mine is about 15 minutes down the road from where I live... Didn't think I would be able to afford it as it's a really nice hotel / country club but as I'm getting married in an off peak period it's in my price range
Yes we are marrying in the local parish church and the venue is 15 mins from there.
I wanted to do it aboard but his parents wouldn’t come so we’re doing it in north Devon 4 hours away
Our wedding is just over a hours drive away
Me n other half live in West Midlands but he’s from Newcastle so we’re getting married up there
He’s from Nottingham I’m from Staffordshire and we’re getting married on the Isle of Wight. My sister is down there and from the first time he visited he wanted to get married there.

We’re getting married in our local town hall which is a 15 minute walk away lol least we won’t have far to stumble after the reception 🤣
My venue is about 30-45 min away but I’m staying the night before
I live opposite our church but our venue for the wedding breakfast is about 20 minutes up the road!

I’m getting married in Inverness and live down near Cambridge. I’m from Inverness. Everything is email or online these days so no difference just now. (Married Oct 2019)

Nope live on the Isle of Wight and getting married in Bournemouth as I’m from Poole anyway so wanted to go home. Plus most of family and friends either live near or in Dorset or around Kent and London xxx

We are getting married in my hometown. OH's hometown is about 70 minute's drive away so not too far to come for anyone.

Mine was to be in the Lakes regardless of where I lived. I'm very lucky to have now moved from Yorkshire to live there so will now be local. I chose it based on a place that felt special to me, not the locality
