I really love the backless style dresses but I'm quite big chested so going bra less is a no, does that mean they're a definate no go ? Have any bigger breasted ladies worn a backless ? How did you manage it ?

You can get allsorts of bras that have straps that go around your waist. It depends how backless you want to go and how far down it'll go. I couldn't pull it off even if I wanted to haha. But if you can I'd say go for it. As long as you're happy and comfortable who really cares :)

My dress is to low to where a bra with on the back and I’m a 40gg chest but because it was a little bit corset and boned in the front I can get away with out a bra so depend on the dress xx

If it's a well made dress, it will have a bra in it mine did, I'm a 38dd and I went braless

I'm larger boobed and gone for a strapless dress despite my initial worries; I tried it on and felt so supported, there's no chance anything was going anywhere try some on and see what you think!zz

I didn't need a bra for mine, but I liked the idea of having fancy wedding underwear so used a waist adapter

I'm having backless and having bra cups sewn into my dress. As long as your dress is altered and fits perfect then you'd be fine

Get tit tape.....honestly it works. Look at all the celebs who wear low cut dresses they use tit tape.

My dress is backless , I’m small chested so I having cups stitched into mine to give me more shape but i don’t see why that would work for you as it’s giving you support still .. I would love to show you my dress but always worried someone will see it haha x

Next do the Ultimo range with a low back bra. I guess it depends how low the back is on your dress. I am also on the bigger side and it worked a dream for me. Felt secure all day as a bridesmaid. £48

My dress isn’t backless but has an illusion back so you wouldn’t want to see your bra, my dress has a bra cups in it already, it’s Ronald Joyce but I believe lots of dresses have cups in and if not pretty easy to have done.

I’m a 32G and didn’t wear a bra with my dress. My seamstress sewed swimming bust cups in that gave me a better cleavage than any bra did!

I'm big chested and my dress is being altered so it'll be tight enough to go without a bra. Talk to the seamstress when tyring as they will have ideas and have a better idea x

Don't worry Most bridal shops will put bra cups in you dresse. I would also recommend going for a corset as it will give you extra support. I had lots of trouble finding backless bras in my size most of them don't go up very high in cup size. I was very surprised it feel how supported I was in my corceted dress. You could also use modesty tape to give that extra support. Xxx

Not a full backless dress but still not able to wear a bar without it being seen. I was a 40D and I didn’t wear a bra, I never thought I’d get away with it but I did, it was comfy and I didn’t even have to have any adjustments made to it just the cups it came with. Go and try some on at a Wed2b, then you’ll get an idea, good luck

You can either have a bra sewn in or have the dress altered so you dont need one.

I have a backless one and it has an inbuilt bra in the bodice. Also the seamstress should be able to put one in if it doesn’t have it

The lady that did my alterations said that any good wedding dress should be able to support you without you having to wear a bra. I also have a big chest and I don’t need a bra in my dress, but on the other hand mine is not backless. I would go and speak to boutique or someone who specialises in altering wedding dresses - bras can be fitted within some gowns - the professionals will be able to give you good advice on your options
