Hi we haven't chosen yet :)

What kind of music do you like? I have one friend who had a harpist as guests arrived at the reception and it was wonderful. On the other hand we have other friends who had heavy metal which rather shocked but amused the guests. Both were very much about what the couple liked. We are an older couple (he is 50 and I am 61) and we will be having Genesis and suchlike at the beginning, at the initial part of the reception when it is drinkies and canapes we may well have Irish and soft music and then in the evening something more heavy that is good for dancing. It is all about you and what you like.

We are having a full on cheesy pop disco all day.

We are just creating a playlist of all the songs we like - a lot of 80's, 90's and 00's stuff with a few current tunes in there too.

We went to a wedding last month and their music was incredible it was a string quartet but playing songs like queen bohemian rapsody and pirates of the Caribbean and all sorts it was brilliant

We’re getting a CD made with all our favourite songs but made in acoustic style so it’s not to much but people can still sing along (if they know the words) x

We're having songs that everyone will recognise but in piano versions so it's nice and relaxed. X

We’re looking at booking an amazing string quartet from Manchester called Rylands!

We want Rock, but can't agree which!!! Lol

We had pan pipe love songs for guests waiting, then rock music, including live band in the evening x

We’re having a string quartet for 2 hours from just before ceremony begins through to drinks after... not something I ever thought I’d have but there’s so much music that sounds great done by a string quartet, not just classical. We’re getting married in a hotel too.x

We're having our favourite songs (ed sheeran, celine dion, bruno mars ECT) but in harpist and acoustic versions, our venue is very small so we can't have the real thing so having a CD made instead x
