What is a reasonable amount to spend on table decorations per table? I know it can vary dramatically depending on what you are having, but what is an average? We have about 15 tables, so this is getting very expensive very quickly :(

Hi it depends on what you can afford, set yourself a budget and stick to it :)

It depends what you are looking to have. My tall gypsophila filled flower arrangements are costing £55.00 per arrangement. But you can get all sorts of different things as a centrepieces, like candles, birdcages, etc which are a lot cheaper

I’m doing mine myself, had a trip to hobby craft and country baskets and managed to get everything I need for about £250 including all the artificial flowers. I’m planned it on the basis I’d need 10 tables to make sure I had enough x

I have been looking at balloons, they are effective without price tag.

Why don't you collect empty jam jars and similar and wrap some lace. You then can but some bunches of roses and gypsophylia from supermarket and put them in the jars and in the smaller ones some tea lights.

My friend done all of her centrepieces herself. Collected wine bottle and jars etc wrapped them all in thick string and popped a flower here and there. They looked lovely. Costs as much as you want them to, you don't have to go overboard for pretty centrepieces Amanda Whittaker

I've bought cheap hurricane vases from Tesco which will be surrounded by floral rings, buying the flowers wholesale from Triangle Nursery. Will be interspersed with jars with small posies and candles in, am saving jars to decorate myself. Think it will be about £100 overall, I'm having long tables rather than round so will be 2 floral rings/hurricane vases and a few jars dotted along each table.

My flowers have come to 100 and decorations 150. Not including hiring the fishbowls and table mirrors. I think in total about 300.

My sister did a collection of empty and de-labelled wine bottles with a couple of wild flower stems in each bottle. Very pretty and came out cheap when the whole family started collecting bottles (I was a student at the time I'm sure you can imagine my contribution 😅)

Can borrow somebody's old step ladders & paint white & pop candles on & some white baby's breath .....

I also just used pitcher jugs on tables using white baby's breath mainly as a filler as it goes far like a powder puff to puff it out abit ....

Have a look at Pinterest for ideas, i have saved tin cans and removed label and stuck diamante ribbon around as vases and jam jars with the same decoration for candles. I got a lot of my decorating stuff and flowers from 'wish' which has saved me a lot of money. X

I priced it up to do my self and to hire them, it worked out I was only saving myself a few quid doing it myself so now paid for hire and someone to set up table decs. I have 20 tables with fish bowl, mirror plate and roses works out £200

I've got all the bits for my tables apart from pine cones for about £70. EBay, fb marketplace and the range made it so cost effective. Depends what your budget is

I bought glass plates from the range for a couple.of pounds each, got fishbowls from home bargain fr £3 each, added some clear water beads £2 a pack, an led light (ebay £3 a pack) that colour matched my theme and some clip on butterflies from the range £2 a pack and 3 wooden flowers. Each centrepiece cost roughly £7.

These are my centre pieces, cost around £35-£40 to make the lot i have enough for 10 tables but only needed 7. Just got to put the heather and lavender flowers in on the day as well as the tea lights.
Asked friends and family for old coffee jars, bought everything else off ebay and the wood blocks from another bride who was selling them. Very time consuming cleaning and decorating but saved a fortune. And i have already a buyer for after my wedding. X

I spent £4 per table. I bought slate hearts and large candles from Wilco and x10 sparkly pale blue table mats from Poundstretcher and a packet of self adhesive fake gems in primary colours. I stuck the gems onto the slates and popped a pillar candle in the middle and then put that onto the table mats.

It honestly depends what you want. My husband and I are big gin fans so we had different empty bottles on each table to show the name and in each one, a red peony (v.realistic fake one). Most of the bottles we had so there was no extra charge for them and a few we got donated from local bars. The flowers my mum had got on holiday so to be honest cost me nothing!
