Hello Brides. Any tips on where I can find affordable wedding dresses? Or any good budget designers to look out for? I went to a bridal show and nearly had a heart attack at the prices.

www.stillwhite.co.uk sells second hand wedding dresses as well as ex samples
Sample and bridal sales. Genuine bridal boutiques offer genuine dresses, with excellent service and advice. The sale rail can have amazing gowns, from genuine bridal designers, top quality fabrics and workmanship.
I got mine on Lindy Bop for £26. Absolutely gorgeous dress and good quality.
Another pic of the dress I got :)
I got mine from David Bridal in Glasgow, beautiful dress (not designer but don't care) it was less than £500
Lots of bridal boutiques have sample sales so if you can find one that fits or could be easily altered then you can get them for around £400 ish when the retail price was £1000 ? The next lot of designs should be in around March so now is the time to nab a bargain otherwise it will be around September! A lot of Bridal Boutiques have Facebook pages so keep an eye on their posts for sample sales! I've also found that the simpler the dress the less expensive it is - if you don't want a lot of bling or detail then the price dramatically decreases. I've also found it helpful to shop around - the prices in bridal boutiques can vary greatly so worth visiting a few as some really do charge over the odds! Alternatively, Dorothy Perkins and Debenhams have some beautiful dresses at a fraction of the price of Bridal Boutiques. Finally, don't worry too much about this - you will find that perfect dress and will look beautiful on the day! :-)
I got mine from Wed2Be for only £499, I also got my bridesmaids dresses from JJ's House and they were fantastic quality
Debenhams do plain simple dresses cheap
I used bridal house @ high Wycombe & got an amazing wedding skirt & top in the sale reduced from £2,000 down to £440 ....
For bridesmaids bargains get them now from debenhams sales , also websites Lindy bop , elsies attic & chi chi clothing
Am I the only person who had a bad experience at wed2be 🙈 I'd advise to shop about......the dresses at wed2be that i tried on were around 600, then I found the most perfect dress of the peg in a little bridal shop for just over 400. Xc
I'm planning on buying ex sample from eBay once I have a general idea of the style I like!

I got mine off Shpock £150. It’s brand new and got to try it on before I brought it.
I got both mine and my bridesmaids dresses from Lindy Bop. All three together cost just under £100.
Have a look on Pinterest for some ideas you’ll be surprised at the web sites they come up with and there quite reasonable too
I went to a place called Townhouse Bridal just outside of St Neots - they only sell discontinued and sample sale dresses so you get designer gowns that cost no more than £650.00 (but most are £500 or under). The lady who runs it is incredibly helpful and friendly
