Looking for a venue that's dog friendly where we can get married have a party and then stay over all together, but that we organise and decorate ourselves, we are calling in favours to help keep costs down. Anyone have any recommendations? I'm in the south of England so anywhere within a couple of hours would be great ????

We got married at rumbolds barn in West Sussex last year- it was dog friendly they had 7 rooms or cottages to stay in and we could go in from Monday the week before to decorate- weddings have to be on a Saturday though. It's susie who owns it and she has 10 or 12 weddings there each year max. Good luck xx

The New Holmwood Best Western hotel in Cowes on the Isle of Wight ticks all of those boxes, and their customer service is incredible- so stress-free, and food is fantastic. No venue hire cost, only thing you pay is catering which is done per head (variable prices), and there's no minimum number. Dog friendly, and right on the seafront too so perfect for a walk and photos :)

I am getting married at a horse rescue farm near Dartmouth. Its a licensed venue and its stunning. We are having our dogs with us 🐕🐕They are on FB, search Ash Rescue Weddings. They can provide accommodation on site. You can arrange as much or as little as you want.

Try Ash Barton estate, my sister got married there and it was amazing! (It’s in Devon) we all stayed there from the Thursday to Monday and decorated the whole place ourselves, it’s got a pool too so you can have a pool party the day before or after! http://www.ashbarton.com
I haven’t read all the comments so sorry if someone has already suggested this!! Xx
