Hi brides, what are people having as there table centres? I won’t to do it as cheap as possible. Ideas would be great.
We are having teacups and teapots. Going for a madhatter tea party.
Keeping it simple with white roses in large Yankee Candle jars (I don't like the current fashion of tall centre displays). Ties in with our theme as my bridesmaid is in petrol green and cake is white with dark green leaves with white roses.
We're having fairy lights in gin and whiskey bottles, jars with flowers in and a picture frame with the table name on. We're collecting bottles ourselves, and asking friends and family to save them for us, and our venue dressers are supplying the flowers and fairy lights, and we will do the picture frames ourselves. Xxx
We’re having Yankee candle lanterns (they were £22 reduced to £4 so brought enough for each table) and putting fairy lights in them with tealights run all down the tables. As our theme is travel we will also be having postcards with pictures of all places where we have travelled together. Why don’t you collect wine bottles or any bottles for that matter and put candles in the top so the wax drips down, seen this done in Germany and looks awesome :)
We did log slices, pumpkins, artificial flowers in a jug, autumn leaf jars of LEDs and a spray painted Fox for our namesake. Wasn't expensive at all but was very seasonal as it was October! I loved how they came out :)
Bird cage with candles and flowers. £15 per table x
We had jars we collected filled with flowers then a small bottle of raspberry vodka we made for grown ups and kids had a mini jar of sweets x
B&M’s have a lovely wedding Range now, big pearl birdcages etc
My friend’s mother in law is making bird cages for me to put electric candles in which will have the names of wedding guests on each table.
we had battery operated tea lights in jars decorated with my mums lace of her dress, painted jars with butterflies on, trees to hang the favours on and little milk bottles decorated in pastel coloured string to hold the table names one our theme was pastel rainbow x
Me and my H2B are getting married in December so we are making our own wreaths to go on each table with a church candle in the middle 😊 we are collecting the pine cones etc. During our winter walks xx
This was our centre pieces x
Had pitcher jugs placed on mirrors filled mainly with lots of baby's breath ( good cheap filler ) & a light box .... Each table had a different theme & the objects I mainly sourced from charity shops eg Dolphins, sandy beach , Australia, Film , photography , otters etc all my favourite things ....
I am having hurricane vases, then will give them to all the aunties before they leave. Still not sure what am putting in them though. I found ones I liked then googled them, found them cheap as chips
I am having ivory lanterns after i have used them for aisle there going to put them on the tabkes with mirror plates and dimonties and a few pink rose petels xx
Im gonna do a natural wood disc (will get some from our local log place or see what comes with our firewood this weekend. with a rope wrapped empty bottle (wine or beer) containing a single flower. A jam jar with babys breath and roses in and a tealight. Plus table number.
Most of the table pieces I will make myself from recycled material so keeps costs really low. May even go scavenge for some pinecones
Blue centre piece from Poundstretcher, along with candles and slate hearts from Wilco. I got some stick on gems and added them to the slate and I made my own bomboniere.
I made these. There made out of paper.
Sometimes venues can supply things. I know my friend had this! I’m making mine as my theme is to do with out hobbies. It will be a twig in a terracotta pot with origami flowers on. I’ve also got some micro lights in purple (our colour). The lights cost me £14 for 10 on amazon, pots will be under £1 each, paper is fairly cheap and the twigs I have collected.
We are having globes
I used orchin plants and then used them as presents for people that had helped out
We just had jam jars filled with flowers & I ordered lots of wooden hearts & butterflies & painted them to match pastel colour theme x
We are getting married on Saturday and having banquet tables so I've made long garlands, I cut the holly from my Dads tree and picked up pine cones from the woods
