Hi everyone. How long before the wedding do you send out wedding invites? We are getting married July 2018 and thinking of sending the out in January. And how long do you generally give for rsvps? Thanks for advice.

I believe it should be between 4-6 months notice I’ve been told to ensure numbers

Hi, if you send them out in July you're only giving your guests 7 months notice, please be aware people do book holidays a year in advance or have other plans booked. I'm getting married in June 2020 and are thinking of giving them out a year in advance, our caterers are asking for full numbers 4 weeks before the day so I would just specify on your RSVP when you need it back by.
Hope this helps

I get married in August 2018 and sent mine out last week. I sent save the dates the year before. July and August are popular for weddings and holidays so I'd send them out as soon as possible.
