Hi I'm looking for a venue in Manchester / the North West. We don't have a massive budget and ideally would like somewhere that will provide a wedding breakfast but perhaps let us sort out a buffet for the evening guests and also provide some additional alcohol on top of what they provide (e.g reception welcome Pimms). Does this type of place exist?!
If you go on Groupon they had a deal on for a Manchester hotel (actually quiet a few) but I'd be tempted if it wasn't in the wrong location.

Hi, my friend got married at Manchester town hall which was beautiful and then went across the road to the albert square chop house (they have a great function room) not sure what the price was but would probably have been cheaper than hotels etc. Might be worth a look x

I know it doesn’t sound very grand but you could try a football or sports venue as they often let you use your own caterers and can also supply catering. They are usually very flexible
