So I got engaged a week ago, we have given ourselves 2 years prep time. I want to get married on a beach preferably abroad. Where do I start?!? Help appreciated ???? Xx
My friend got married in the Mauritius. Looks beautiful. Xx
Have a look at tropical sky. I received a catalogue full of places x
Find a travel agent with experience in this ... and make sure you are insured because look what has just happened to some poor people who had planned to marry in Rhodes.
We are getting married in June 18 in Cyprus. Thompson do it all for you. Eeek can’t wait 238 days to go.
We’re getting married in Cyprus April 2019..search Facebook for Cyprus brides past present and future.. lots of ladies who have planned their wedding direct.. but there’s also loads who’ve done through Thomas cook and Thomson and some who have used wedding planners over in Cyprus xx
I’m getting married in Cyprus Sept 2018 and we have done everything through the hotel we are staying with and marrying at. They have a wedding planner and anything we want to know she has been helpful x
Pick your beach and do research and get insurance and have fun :)
Go to Thomas Cook or call 01603964207! The wedding team are incredible!
I got married in Zante in May. My biggest recommendation would be to book with a wedding planner in the country you want to marry. Don't book with a travel agent, thomson nearly ruined our wedding but luckily managed to cancel. I can't recommend Frances at Zante weddings enough they are amazing xx
Depends on your budget but we planned on abroad and went for a long weekend to have a look at our ‘dream hotel’ as well as a couple of back ups and glad we did as the pics were deceiving and stopped us making a big mistake
South of Italy is beautiful though more expensive than other locations.
Always go to place to plan on having your wedding at, pictures can be deceiving. Good luck on your planning and have fun!
We are using perfect weddings abroad as we getting married in Italy they have been really good and helpful. Even met the wedding planner in Italy when we went on holiday and saw venue.
I got married in Aruba 3 weeks ago we booked through Thomsons it was amazing
I am getting married in St Lucia. Sandals have been great xxx
Enjoy the moment and enjoy being engaged
Go into thomsons they do amazing packages x
I work for a travel company, my advice is to find a resort that you like and look in to their wedding policies. A lot of them will do a free wedding if you stay for more than 3 nights. Sandals are particularly spectacular at this and have an incredible team who will work with you to create your perfect day. Xxx
We went with Thompson also fantastic Rhodes at Paul's bay beautiful part from idiots now spoilt it for everyone else
We’re getting married in Santorini and we’re lucky enough to have picked a venue with an internal wedding planning team, and so far, it’s been all easy! X
Decide what time of year you want to get married and research places where it isn't rainy season first! Thomsons will do a consultation to match you to a hotel best suited to you 👰🏼🤵🏼
Hi...It's easy....if you work with a travel professional (like me!). I'm an independent travel specialist, and advertise on UKBrides. There are lots of ways to plan and organise a wedding on a beach and it really needs the right questions to be asked in order to find out exactly what you want (and can afford). I'd be happy to help get you started. You can contact me via my ad on UKB, my Facebook page, Steve Friend - Brilliant Travel , or by emailing [email protected] .2 years is plenty of time, but things can start to get booked up for weddings, so it's best to start sooner rather than later.
Im gettin married next oct in mexico an booked through thomas cook.all depends on what you want.an if need be go into travel agents an get some ideas then work from there.i booked back in april when they first came out.gives people enough time to pay if they are wanting to come.xx
We researched on line, fell in love with a venue, researched wedding planners and flew out to the venue and met the wedding planner at the potential venue. She was so helpful and reassuring...and we hadnt even booked anything with her at that point. We ended up not liking the venue we orginally wanted and ended up choosing one the wedding planner recxomened to us. I really do recommend Frangiska at Zante Dream weddings if your looking to marry in Zante
I got married in Portugal last month and getting married abroad was the right decision for us. We first picked a country we liked and then contacted a wedding planner who found venues based on what we wanted. We went over and visited a number of them and fell in love with the last one. I would definitely get a wedding planner if you are doing it abroad. Xx
Got married on 18th June this year and we used Ionian weddings and got married in santorini x
