I got married in Zante in May. My biggest recommendation would be to book with a wedding planner in the country you want to marry. Don't book with a travel agent, thomson nearly ruined our wedding but luckily managed to cancel. I can't recommend Frances at Zante weddings enough they are amazing xx

Depends on your budget but we planned on abroad and went for a long weekend to have a look at our ‘dream hotel’ as well as a couple of back ups and glad we did as the pics were deceiving and stopped us making a big mistake

South of Italy is beautiful though more expensive than other locations.

Always go to place to plan on having your wedding at, pictures can be deceiving. Good luck on your planning and have fun!

We are using perfect weddings abroad as we getting married in Italy they have been really good and helpful. Even met the wedding planner in Italy when we went on holiday and saw venue.

I work for a travel company, my advice is to find a resort that you like and look in to their wedding policies. A lot of them will do a free wedding if you stay for more than 3 nights. Sandals are particularly spectacular at this and have an incredible team who will work with you to create your perfect day. Xxx

Im gettin married next oct in mexico an booked through thomas cook.all depends on what you want.an if need be go into travel agents an get some ideas then work from there.i booked back in april when they first came out.gives people enough time to pay if they are wanting to come.xx

We researched on line, fell in love with a venue, researched wedding planners and flew out to the venue and met the wedding planner at the potential venue. She was so helpful and reassuring...and we hadnt even booked anything with her at that point. We ended up not liking the venue we orginally wanted and ended up choosing one the wedding planner recxomened to us. I really do recommend Frangiska at Zante Dream weddings if your looking to marry in Zante

I got married in Portugal last month and getting married abroad was the right decision for us. We first picked a country we liked and then contacted a wedding planner who found venues based on what we wanted. We went over and visited a number of them and fell in love with the last one. I would definitely get a wedding planner if you are doing it abroad. Xx
