I emailed all vebues first and got pricing so i could rule out any that didnt work woth our budget. I viewed 3 and knew as soon as i viewed the third one that it was perfect for us. We just confirmed it all this week! 😊

It sounds silly but mine came down to a feeling, I went to some really beautiful, grand venues but they just didn't feel very 'me'. I want to feel comfortable and happy on the day, not out of place. Good luck!! :)

We just knew it was the one for us. Almost instantly knew.

Gut feeling! Came down to 2 one was a head option (cheaper) the other was a heart option (we both loved it) ended up going to heart as we played with the numbers and figured how to afford it xx

Mine came down to how we felt when we were at the venue. We choose our venue because we felt very comfortable and relaxed there and the wedding planner is lovely, everything can be altered to suit our needs, some places we went were so rigid as you had to stick to layouts, menus etc. So you should go with how you feel

We didn't need to. We knew it was the one as soon as we set foot in the place.

I had a spreadsheet of venues, pricing, facilities etc. with a section for comments at the end so that we could note the pros and cons of the venue after the visit. A really easy way to have all the information in one place and a good way to compare costs. A bit geeky but effective! :-)

We went to a wedding fair at the one we'd originally liked but we got there and it just felt wrong.
We then made an appointment at our next venue and we just knew, it felt so right.
Sounds corny but you'll know when you visit it.

Yes we all got the feeling it was right too.

We looked alot on line then went to vue one of them and we booked in then and there. Sometimes you just know. We saw the room and straight away we started talking about where to put things and it seemed perfect.

You can imagine yourself getting married there and get really excited 😊😊 it's better than buying the dress!!!

We chose our venue for what it could offer for us and what we wanted from our wedding day for our family and friends. We managed to whittle it down very easily!

You’ll know when you’ve found the right venue just like when you’ve found the right dress. I didn’t even want to go and view our chosen venue, it wasn’t what I wanted or where I wanted but it was recommended and my fiancé at the time booked me to go and see it as he was working away. I nearly didn’t go to view it but I went with my mum and was stunned by it, the next weekend I went back to see it with my fiancé and we booked it. I so didn’t want it to be the one before we went to view it but I knew straight away when I saw it that it was the one and it was so perfect. Good luck x

I think you just know when you go. The one we had our hearts on was not the one when we went and looked round. But we went to another place and we both walked out having pre booked a date! X
